magnesium caltrate

Hi everyone!!  I wanted to know if anyone can tell me where to get the 10oz of magnesium caltrate that I have to take the night before my surgery and how much it cost??  I have been reading that you can chill it and that it comes in a cherry flavor??  I am not good at taking yucky tasting things so I am trying to get info on how to make it the best it can be for me.  Any advice I would be greatly appreciated. 

I think you mean magnesium citrate. I got mine at Rite-Aid. Any drugstore will have it. It is near the laxatives. It wasn't expensive at all, from what I remember. It didn't taste bad either. I took it with no problem. I think it was cherry flavor. Just stay near a toilet for many hours. Take it about 5pm the night before.

Ok listen to me . This is how I tell the patients to take it. Get it very cold. Put it over ice and then use a straw to get past the flavors. You just gottat get it gone. this is the last carbonated drink you will have. dont enjoy it but slug it back

I've had to take this stuff 4 or 5 times over the years, for different tests.  I have found the best way is to drink as much as you can (chilled).  Then drink a sip of plain water (get the taste out of your mouth).  Then drink some more of the junk (MC)...then some more plain water.  Repeat...

I prefer the lemon/lime taste. didn't like the cherry one at all....yuck!!!
