We were in Juneau, Sitka .. . and omg I can't remember the other places - on Holland America Westerdam . . . did dog sledding, the Mendenhal glacier, a salmon bake, 4x4 offroading on an island, did the "Dangerous Catch" trip - where I got to hold a 10 lb golden king crab . . . did a pub crawl in Victoria . . . and loved every damn minute of it all! Have a great time!

Chris,

I see that you had a blast. I will not be able to do all of that, due to limited funds, but I will be able to see the sights. Hopefully, I will have a chance to do more if and when I go back in September.

Well my friend had the funds . . . and I paid her back . . . so it isn't something I could have done either . . . but we did the activities and never really got to see any of the towns which is sad too . . . so I'm SURE you will enjoy whatever you are doing . . . it is truly amazing out there!

I love them . . . no separate tipping . . . there is a daily charge built in . . . no cash need at all onboard . . . I've never done Royal Carribean though . . . so no reference there. I would do Holland America any time

Joe and I went to Alaska on our Honeymoon. 13 days and it was Heavenly! We flew into Anchorage and then got a "Rent a Wreck" truck. Absolutely adored it. Have fun dear .... you deserve it!
