Hey is it cloudy out where you live? Out here in the desert this mornng it looks like there is a storm blowing in!!!!!

Welcome home Chris...you were missed around here and I cannot remember who collected the totals for WWW, but I do remember the numbers  being good!!!! Hope your trip less the trailer trash was splendid....I love Yosemite and had hope to take a motorcyclle trip there this summer, but I don't think that is going to happen!

Nikki....how are you doing? I surely hope that you get your drains out today and you are feeling better. I know you are pretty miserable! Loved meeting your mom the other day too....very very nice lady!

Lena aka Lola...thanks for the phone call yesterday. If you all have not seen Lena....hop on over to facebook and check her out....I am telling you I was super gobsmacked when I saw her updated pics. This is a girl who had an RNY 11 months ago....signed up for the LA Marathon....has lost 135 pounds and I am telling you you guys....she looks friggin awesome beyond belief. I am so proud of her because that was a huge committment for a former fat chick to do!! YOU GO LENA.....I couldn't be prouder of you!!!

Rhonda you girl are going to be called the farmer now....I can hardly wait to see how your new garden came out. Was Gerry out there yesterday like Mr. Green Jeans diggin up the land to get it all ready for you to grow grow grow. Hell you have enough land there to feed your whole family and have your own farmers market!

Sue how did that wedding go? I bet it was really nice!!! Is hubby's back feeling any better? How is Miss Sammy doing? You of course too...you look great in your new avatar....

Nancy great that you are back home....did miss your smiling face around here. You cracked me up with the ants....don't know why,but it did make me laugh!!!

Delores...made me homesick when you talked about Fishermans Wharf and all that. I am a native San Franciscan and sometimes I just miss it. I lived 5 blocks from the Golden Gate Park on 8th and Geary back in the day before my parents moved me over to the East Bay. You know I would never move back, but I sure love to visit. Hey if you ever want to go to an absolutely kick ass restaurant in North Beach...try Rose Pistola...it is on Columbus and the food is to die for!!!! Any vistor would be impressed!

Barb countdown to graduation is on it's way for sure for Ron....how exciting and I love that you are all wearing matching shirts...he will be able to see you out there it that sea of people. I love that they are graduating at the theather like that...love that place. Seen many of concerts there! When Jeff graduated he would not go through the ceremony...that was back in the 80's. I always wished he did. When I graduated from JFK University....we had our graduation at the Paramount Theater in Oakland...it was bad ass....here is me pulled up to the theater on my motorcycle and chaps, pulled my graduation gown out of my saddlebags. through it on over my chaps and all...and walked the stage in leather and motorcycle boots....the president went to shake my hand and then grabbed me and said oh hell Janine and hugged me!!! It was the best!

Monica you have been quite on the boards...is everything okay? You are missed for sure! Jordyn okay?

Eileen I think it is awesome that you are making a committment to the gym and to yourself! How was the baptism?

Naomi how was your pampering? Luck you that you get to spend time with your daughter like that. Sometimes I wish I had a daughter to bond with like that....I guess I am now getting it through AVa.

Diane C...where are you? I never see you on the boards anymore...you don't love us?

Julie how are you doing...anything fun this weekend. Shopping?

Jean love love you got to hit the MAC counter...you know I was there in spirit with you. Hey my friend gave me the Hello Kitty MAC doll as a recovery present....it is so cool!

Becky I am so sorry that your surgery was pushed back to the end of June and I know you suffer terribly. I had nothing compared to your hernia's and I hurt....you are a strong woman to take all of this!!!

Kim are you all ready for your cruise? Where are you going? I am nosey for sure and you will be missed and envied by all of us!

Maureen did you have fun this weekend on your mini vacation? You really are getting around there girl and I hope to meet you the end of the month even if it is just lunch!

Okay I am way past brain dead I think. I kind of over did it yesterday and I paid for it big time in swelling and pain. This morning I am going to the dentist with AvaBear...she has chipped one of her front teeth....grrrrrrrrrrrrr and then we are dropping her off to school and her mom is going to help me find a light compression sports bra for the girls...oh what fun!!!!

Good morning Cali,

Thanks for the shout out.  We did have a great time, I can't do Italian with these friends, but keep the Rose Pistola in mind for others.  It was hot here yesterday, 97 and we do not have air in all of the house (usually don't need it).  We managed and it will be cooler today. 

I am back on the road this week then post op on Friday.  I am getting excised.  Took my friend shopping (she is 5'10" and weights like 135 after 4 kids) to H& M at the great Mall.  The stuff was so cute, wanted to buy something but afraid it would only fit for a few weeks.  I am really limited on what I have to wear now I have gone down from a 18/20 to a 14.  I had given all my 14s to my sister.  Hope to be around a 8/10 after all the weight loss.  But, we will have to see what happens first during the honeymoon period.

Morning Janine and Cali!  Well I am getting ready for work (so why am I on here????) . . . just can't get excited about it at all . . . I'm half expecting my counterpart to day "that's it - I'm going to retire" . . . after being on her own for a week . . .

I was craving salt last night and ate a handfull of chips at 9:00 . . .and paid for it almost all night . . . stuck on chips???? ugh . . . that will teach me . . . finally got to sleep about 2:30 . . . nap time today at lunch!

Good morning Janine and Cali Guys and Gals.

I hope everyone is doing well this morning.  Great shout out Janine, it lets me catch up on everything I have missed.  Did you see Chris's new Avatar it is great.  Nothing new here at all.  I have to clean house and do my thing (laundry) and that is about it.  I did not sleep well last night so I am bushed today, but this day shall pass and I am going to try and sneak in a nap later.  Have a great day.

Good Morning Janine and Cali Crew!!

It is cloudy here this morning too.  Radio said that we may get afternoon thunderstorms.  I love to watch those kind of storms.  Not much planned here today.  Been at work since 5:00 am this morning and then just going home and possibly taking a nap.  I am going to try and get my daughter hired here.  She has no experience but neither did I when I got hired.  All you have to know how to do is talk on the phone and use a computer.  With what they pay here, you can't expect someone with tons of experience to want to work here.  They are better off hiring someone young and just train them.  I am looking hard for another job with better pay, benefits and hours but things are so tough right now.  No one is hiring.

Janine, what a great story about your graduation, what a hoot.  I love it!

Well we made it,. today's the day!  It's gonna be a whirwind of a day too   My neighbors Terri and Curtis are having us over for breakfast at 8a.m., and then off to the Oakland airport to pick up his sister and brother in law who are coming in from Canada.  Then graduation and then a reception/dinner at our freind Steve's. Thwe will be 9 of us attending and it should be a blast.  The t-shirts came out better than I had expected.  We'll get pictures and I will post later.

The weather has cooled slightly thank goodness.

Good Morning Cali,

Very foggy here this morning. My DH has woken me up for a "surprise" that he has set up for us.
All I know is that he has found a friend to take the baby, and we are going to do something that we as a couple have never done before.. So this should be interesting. I love and hate surprises all at the same time. I love to feel special, but hate not being in control of what is going on.. LOL


SO I have less than an hour to get ready, so I better be going..

Good Morning Janine and all of the Cali Group.

dh's arm is very sore but the swamp cooler is up and working fine. Yesterday we sort of parked under it and stayed there after church and some shopping.

Saturday we drove to Murietta (2 and a half hours each way) to adopt two hermit crabs after my local support group meeting...Saturday was a LONG day.

This week looks much better. I'm off and running!

Although today is cloudy, I am sure it will burn off and we will be in the 80's here in Orange County.

OMG Janine thank you for the ongoing support and shoot out!  On Marathon day when I am struggling, I am going to think of you and make you proud.  You are the greatest! 

As for me, life is good.  I have an exciting week.  Going to see Jamie Foxx in concert tomorrow with Kirsten and Kev.  Than my aunt and uncle are coming down from Monterey in prep for the Marathon.  They will be taking care of lil man while I run the streets of Los Angeles. 
Exciting week ahead.
