Good Morning Janine and Cali,

Its nice to be missed thanks.  Saw your post about how things are progressing with you and taking the doc to see your mural, nice.  This class has been kicking my butt and last weeks midterm was a killer.  Jordyn and I are well just a little rattle from last nights earthquake and this morning's trimmer.  I am glad to say I like in a study house that actually does not shake.  But I also have to say I missed and almost prefer the shake to just hearing all of the earthquake noise.  That was more unsettling to me.

My kids are testing this week so that gives me a few minutes to get on here and surf.

Good Afternoon Janine and Cali Crew...

Isn't just the way it is when things are going smooth something has to throw a wrench in it.  I had big plans for the weekend, but got zilch done.  On Friday evening as I was making my plans for the weekend  I could hear my cell ring...it's a work phone so I don't carry it with me around the house...but by the time I got to it it had stopped ringing.  The display said "unknown number" but a voice message popped in.  It was my cousin in Ridgecrest asking me to call him back...he never calls so I know it had to be important.  Unfortunately it was not good news.  My Aunt had fallen ill on Wednesday...slipped into a coma...suffered significant brain damage...and was put on life support.  She wasn't recovering.  They were planning on taking her off life support Saturday afternoon.  So I drove up Saturday morning to be with my family and say Goodbye.  It was very fortunate I showed up as early as I did since she was beginning to show signs of distress and they didn't want her to suffer so they were going to take her off early.  12:01 my Aunt passed away...she was 68 years old and the first of my Mom's sisters to pass away and I'm going to miss her with my whole heart.  It's going to be rough the next couple of weeks, but you know we all do what we have to do.

It is so hard to lose a loved one...especially at such a young age!!  My MIL is the oldest of 12...and she only has 2 siplings left...each was/is such a special soul.  My heart goe out to you, your mom and the entire family.  Hopefully, you will find peace and comfort in having the family together at her time of passing. And to know she is no longer suffering and is definitely in a better place.....really the only way you can accept that she is gone.  You all are in my prayers.

Howdy there everyone!  We made it home from yet another mini vacation!  Shopping was THE BOMB!!!  Big mall == 2 stories.  My friend Tammy who is 5 years post RNY and a size 6.  Speaking of size 6 -- I bought my first pair of size 6 jeans!  Gwolllllly Geee!!!  Lots of shorts were size 10 or 12 because they're just cut differently. 

The massage was awsome.  Really awsome.  But, for all the pampering and fussing, I think I'd just rather have my massage therapist here at home. 

Old man got his second disability check and they're just raping him on the child support.  He has a court order that they're to take $425 out a month.  It clearly spells out weekly, bi weekly amounts and all amounts are MONTHLY.  Well, they took out $308 for cs out of the first check for 9 days.  And now they took $479 out of a check for 14 days.  How they came to these amounts is baffling.  His grumpieness is on the phone with them now.  Snapping at me for something I didn't do..................oh, no he won't get away with that!  Silence until appology  (it'll happen - always does)

I need to go return something to Macy's I bought and have decided to not keep.
