I am ready for my vacation.  I will leave work at 1PM (if not sooner).  I am working my can can off to finish this project and send it out.  I will be flying out to Seattle and then embarking on the cruise ship.

Rhonda, sorry about the death of your bosses' daughter.  I pray for your strength and the strength of her family as they go deal with this loss.

Good Morning Rhonda & Cali Friends,

Well its finally Thursday, which means I have my Philosophy final tonight! I am so excited to finally end that boring class. I swear, I will never, ever, ever take another Philosophy class again!!! I am hoping it will only take me about an hour to finish the final then I can grab some dinner at a nice restaurant to celebrate the end of this semester. Then tomorrow is a half day for me. This is a huge weekend for my family. I have a friend that is getting married on Sunday, so this weekend is filled with family dinners & wedding activites..lol It should be so much fun. I am just glad that I can relax and enjoy the events without stressing about school. I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!

Rhonda, sorry to hear about your bosses' daughter.  Hope you have a good long weekend.  Sounds like you have a lot going on. 

Today is my Friday, woohoo!!  Hubby and I are going to State Line to see Smokey Robinson this weekend.  And maybe a little gambling, too. Then having everyone over for BBQ on Monday, and I am playing hooky on Tuesday to give myself a day to recover, lol!

Gonna say 'good morning'...I still have 10 minutes before it turns noon. LOL  Sooooo Good Morning Rhonda and Cali gang!
I am soooo bored!   It's not that I don't have a bunch of work to accomplish today; I just don't want to get into it...it's all piece meal...things I have set aside because they are individual 'problems' that have to be dealt with one on one. :-9  Besides that, today is Budget meeting day...all the big wigs huddled behind closed doors...until they need to ask me a question that is!  It would be so much easier if they included me right from the start..but my old boss set the precident that I wasn't needed (he had a HUGE ego and wanted to look like HE knew all the answers)..what a jerk   So now, everytime I get started on a new project in my office, my boss comes in to ask a question about one of the line items..history,  procedures, etc...doesn't pay to get too far into anything...I just get interrupted and lose where I was. :-(  Ohhh...am I looking forward to 4pm tomorrow afternoon!

Heading to the foothills, out of the city (and all the 'crazies' attending the Jazz Festival) and into the quiet of mother nature LOL  The park will be full I'm sure but in our section where we have leased a camping spot, everybody pretty much has bailed since we had to sign new contracts and they upped the annual rate. Last time we were up there, our camp site neighbor and us were the only ones left....sooooo sweet!  I can let the dogs run loose (in our camp site) without some ole fogeys complaining...I mean, come on..they are Chihuahuas...not some huge German Shephard or Great Dane LOL  When I take them on their (my!) walk, they are always on lead even tho they follow me just fine.

Gees, listen to me grumble....guess I'd better figure out what it's really about..or I'll be snacking away the emotions...and I know what a vicious cycle that becomes! 

So, as I pick myself up...hope everyone enjoys the Memorial Weekend, working or otherwise; just remember why we celebrate this day...all our great Veterans..prior and present!  Without them, our freedoms would be history! ^_^

Started a post this morning, got side tracked, got lost, finally found my way home again.  Geeze.  The work load here is horrid and they're going to be rolling out some new enhancements to our major program we use (SAP) and they want to NOT send me to training.  Get a grip.

Accellerated leak survey still in full swing.  I'm still juggling 19 things and once and counting down the days till my trip to Rhonda's, see all the girls and DISNEYLAND!  8 and counting!

Hi Rhonda and Cali crew!!!!  Well, it's hard to believe, but today is my 2 year surgiversary!!!! It's been for the most part a GREAT 2 years and I would do it again in a heartbeat!!!! I wouldn't go back to that girl I was 2 years ago for anything, I LOVE the new me and I LOVE my RNY and I LOVE all of you who have made this journey what it is!!! I can't imagine this ride without OH and all of my wonderful friends here!!!
To all of you thinking about doing this, JUST DO IT, you won't regret it and you will GAIN SO MUCH!!!!!
