Yay Linda!
As a pre-op your struggles with your stricture and perserverence towards getting it fixed have really eased my mind on the possibility of that particular complication. You've been amazingly positive about it each time I've seen you. Obviously, a stricture would be a very very bad thing for me to get, but your struggle and strength has shown me it's not the end of the world if it does happen. Best of luck on your procedure. Finally you'll be able to EAT again!

Thanks for keeping us posted Julia.  I will keep Linda in my thoughts and prayers.  I hope this is her last issue with the stricture as she has gone through a lot!  Wishing Linda and everyone else a great day!

It sure is good C'ING LESS OF ME!

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they

ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

Hi Julia.  Thanks for the reminder. I had my stent inserted last month and I've been doing great. since then.
Linda, I'm so happy for you.  You are in good hands with Dr. Lee.  Soon you'll enjoy real food. No more beans and crackers.  I will be thinking of you tomorrow.

So I have been feeling really lousey the past few days, haven't been on here, and generally feeling sorry for myself.  I decided to get on here and then I saw this.

You all are so kind.  This is such an amazing group of friends I have made on here.  I am planning on going to Long Beach coffee next week, and hopefully I will be eating solid food.

Gloria, I am so glad to hear your doing so much better. Thanks for the positive note on Dr Lee.  It almost seems unreal that I may actually eat again soon.

Thank you all for turning my mood around and keeping me focused on the positive.

I will post tomorrow when I am home from the Hospital.

It is out patient, and done endoscopically, should only take about 20 minutes or so and then a quick trip to recovery (about 30-60 minutes) then home on liquids for a few more days.

Hugs to all of you, Thank you
Linda
