I'm home

I went yesterday to have the stent put in.....The only problem was that the Dr. didn't put the stent in.  He said I wasn't a good candidate. He just dilated me one more time.  I was pretty much out of it all day yesterday.  I have to contact my brother to find out more details.  I do remember the Dr. saying "well...lets just hope it gets better"  WTF?   I am so frustrated and mad right now.  I probably won't be here very much for a while.  I have to figure out how to get my head in a better place.  So i am no better than I was two days ago, except that the pain in my gut is worse.

I am so sorry you are going through all this...and like you said WTF!!!! I don't blam you for being so frustrated and mad, I would be too.

I will pray that with him dilating it again will work for you....

I think it is time to go find another Dr and that you should continue coming to the board for the much needed support at a time like thisJust my opinion but I would miss you.
Linda you have been through so much!! There just has tobe some way to fix this problem.

I am so sorry about all this.  I am with Joy on this one, it is time to find a new doctor for sure.  If this "stretching" does not work, find a doctor that will do what it takes to get this fixed once and for all.  I can't even imagine how frustrated you are right now.  I am and I am not even going through this!  If you need to talk please give me a call.  Again I am so sorry you have to go through all of this.

I am so sorry to hear that this saga is continuing.  Please seek a 2nd opinion, perhaps at a teaching hospital and see if they can help.  I so agree with the others, please continue to stay here for support, we all care and we are praying for you.

OMG THAT SUCKS big time...I am so sorry....and I don't understand that if your Gastro Dr said you needed it then why did'nt the Dr at UCI do it.....I have to agree with everyone else....get a second opinion...you can not go on like this for sure.  I am here if you need to talk.  Also...I am coming over your way next Wed to visit Carlie for "Happy hour"  I will be there about 4....walk on over and join us if you are up to it.....she is in #12....

Oh Linda  I am sooo sorry and dismayed to learn you did not have the stent procedure :-(  I was so hoping you would finally find relief.  Please, do not go absent!  I know you want to vent...you will find no place better than here..with friends who understand what you have been thru and totally get the frustration you are suffereing.  We are here for you, especially during the 'bad' times; now is when you need the encouragment and support more than ever.  Hopefully, your bother will have answers as to why the surgeon decided you were not a 'good candidate'.  Please keep us informed; we so care about you!

Linda I am so sorry to hear this.  I will continue to pray for you to have this solved sooner rather than later.  I hope that you have the avenues to see another doctor.  Maybe his supervisor.  I can't imagine someone just giving me that type of response.
