Sore developed beside incision site

I had 3 incisions in my waist line, (total of 8), which is in an area that is a fold I guess is what it is called. it is where my skin folds together when I sit or bend over. On one of the sites a sore has developed, which I have gotten them before I just used to put some rash medicine on it and it would go away but I dont know what to do because it is right next to the incision. Any suggestions? should I contact my surgeon?

Is it hot to the touch or swollen beyond the others?  Is it redder than the others?  If yes, I would surely call the surgeon.  If not, you may try to put some medicine on it.  Watch for infection though and call the surgeon in the event you become worried.  Or, visit an Urgent Care Center if you have one close by.
