I have been posting on other boards but just found this one!! I am currently in the Kaiser Options program (week 7) and have found it useful. I am close to my 10% goal and feel pretty good about that. I have also recently remembered I love to excersize!!!
I just wanted to say HI!!! Hope you all have a good day!

Welcome to the Cali board.  The Cali board has a lot of great people that post and respond.  I encourage you to post on the Cali board If you have questions and/or have something to share.

I went through the Kaiser Options Program from January 2007 thorugh June 2007 and had my RNY on August 10, 2007.  Pacific Bariatrics is a great group of doctors and Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego is wonderful too.

At first I thought the Options Program was full of it, however, after I completed the program, had surgery and so on, I am glad that I went through the program because of all the information that I received. I was totally prepared for the surgery.

Wishing you continued success.

It sure is good C'ING LESS OF ME!

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they

ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

Welcome!  I am also a Kaiser post op; however, I went to Richmond. I have come to believe that Richmond is really on another planet; their protocol (requirements before and after surgery) are so foreign to everyone else here.  But I still get a bunch of encouragement, support and ideas from this forum.  Also make a great group of new friends!  Watch for a lunch meet up in your area; they are a blast.
