Happy Tuesday
Well it is offically Tuesday now, so I am justified writing the morning post!
I do not know where yesterday got away. I did not post except for the Dear Waist thing a friend sent me. I thought you all would get a kick out of it. Then I got side tracked and that is my story and I am sticking to it!
I for went the traditional bbq much to my son's delight yesterday and made mommy's homemade lasagna. I also made them brushetta always a tummy pleaser too. OMG my house smelled absolutely divine! I never ate any except for a few bites of the sauce...and a bit of ricotta...that is enough satisfying for me.
It was a great afternoon here also in the desert. It only got to 94....so all of us slathered up....grandbabies included and went in the hot tub...yeah pool a bit too cold for me even right now....it was only 75 degrees. Ava on her own decided she want to keep dunking herself in the tub much to all of our surprises! She was hillarious. I would have gotten a pic but that would have entailed me drying off. I did not soak really as I am not supposed to, but it sure was nice being able to goof around a bit and not look super horrible in my board shorts and bikini top. I did buy a new two piece the other day, but I am not going to wear it until my scars on my breast are healed. My old top is now big for me and it felt okay on the scars for a while yesterday!
So what did all of you do? Did you all have a good three day weekend?

Well yesterday I spent the day resting and relaxing. Went over to my parents house to enjoy the sun for a little while (I am going stir crazy) Found out they dont have me scheduled at wor****il Friday, surprisingly I am upset because I am bored out of my mind. Everything I want to do around the house/yard requires too much pushing/pulling/lifting so I cant do any of it. I am tired of movies, TV, Soduku and Crosswords, lol. I did find an area where it looks like my incision is coming apart so I will be calling the MD office today. Other than that, go relax by the pool some more, maybe the 99 Cents Store, depends if I go see the MD. More sleep would be nice too, I know you know all about that Janine.
Oh well off to do whatever.......

Good Morning Janine and Cali Friends!
i hope you all had a nice relaxing weekend. We went up to Ashland, Or for the weekend to visit my in-laws. we had a great time. We took Tommy with us and he just had a blast. Spent 2 days at Lithia Park just relaxing, playing in the creek, walking around exploring, it was great!
This will be a short week as well for us as we are headed out for a camping/golf trip next week for 4 days. it will be nice to get away again! lol
Janine, I hope you are feeling better, and you too Nikki! I know I haven't been around much. Life has been getting in the way again, but i think about you all often!

God, Please help me to move my feet!!!Hey Jeni...I have been the worst about contacting you also...thank you so much for the get well card and for those flower things from the breast cancer walk you did. I am actually going to send those to Laura's sister. I lost everything on my computer...so if you can send me a pic too of you at the walk if you have one of the picture you sent me, I would appreciate it. Brenda, Laura's sister asked if she could contact you also to thank you, do you have a problem with that?
Glad you are out living life!!! That is what getting healthy is all about!!! Have loads of fun and drop in and gives us all a shout here and there....you are missed!!!

I spend the day sick as a dog . . . and sleeping . . . had acid reflux on Sunday night . . . which makes me cough . . . and the coughing kept getting worse until my daughter got me what was left of her inhaler at 2AM and I was finally able to get some sleep . . . I've never had asmatha - but omg I can sure relate now to how you poor people feel . . . it was scary (I thought) .. . so, another wasted day off . . . bummer!
Four days this week . . .then on day at Costco . . .and then Disneyland to meet all the people I've never met before (well I do know Becky) - that will be fun! I still have no contact phone numbers Rhonda!

It was a quiet...quiet weekend for me and I took full advantage of not having to get up at 3 am. I slept until six.
I split my time between helping my cousin set things up for the funeral and working on my Junk room. Didn't make too much headway in the Junk room and unfortunately everything I've sorted through, pretty much has to go back in the room until next week. I have to get my house in shape for the influx of family this coming weekend. Everyone is coming in for the funeral so I have to get the spare bedroom, couches and air bed all set up...ah the joys of a big family. 
Today is a short day for me since I have some service people coming by to fix a few items so yay...I couldn't sleep in, but going home early is still a plus.
