Good Morning Janine and Cali Crew!!
I hope everyone had a restful 3 day weekend. Mine was very quiet except for my kids constantly bickering. You would have thought I had a bunch of 2 year olds instead of teenagers and a 23 year old....lol. At least it is quieter here at work.
Nothing going on with me today. Just work and then go home and do some laundry. In fact, that sounds like pretty much my whole week. I live such an exciting life...lol. I have 3 birthdays coming up next week. 3 of my 4 kids were born in June. One on the 5th, then the 9th and the last one on the 13th. 3 birthdays in 8 days...geesh. I dread this time of the year because I can't do one party because the age differences and they just don't want to do one for all party. I think my 15 year old just wants a cake to take to church to share with her youth group and my son who will be 12 wants to go to the movies with a friend. I will see what I can afford and just try and make it special.

Glad to hear you had a great day Janine, fun with the kids and all.
I'm not too sure where the three days went but as usual they flew by. We did visit my poor Father-in-Law. He is still in the hospital and it looks like yet again they will move him to the convalescent hospital. I don't quite think he is ready to be moved, but they want to get you out ASAP. I just don't know, he keeps back sliding and I'm afraid one of these days he won't come home, so sad.
On a lighter note, I can tell Ron is out of school now as he went shopping with me! I drug him all over on Sun. looking for Gazebo's and patio sets. We didn't see anything we liked that we could afford, so I did some research on line and found some stuff at Target. Wouldn't you know that was the one store we didn't go to on Sun. We found both a gazebo and a nice patio set that we liked, that were made well and purchased them. So the patio set is now assembled and the gazebo frame is up and Ron is trying to anchor it in the concerte so it doesn't end up in our neighbor's pool! I think it's going to be great and will help cover our "ugly" patio that we can't stand.
So that was our weekend, lots of fun and work but productive. Hope you all had the same. Love and congrats again to my angel Lola for finishing the Marathon, I'm super proud!

Howdy all! I had a totally awsome weekend! Saturday I took 3 boys to go see the new Night at the Museum movie, then we fed the geese and went home and played Wii games. I caught a 17# BASS! Sunday I had 5 boys over for a "camp-out" We had our camp fire (bottom of the smoker with charcoals) and we roasted hot dogs, and then made smores. We then pitched camp (tents in the back room) with the 2 older boys (10 & 11) sharing one tent and the 3 smaller boys (6, 8 & 8) sharing another tent. Then, I put a movie on for them and they were OUT in no time flat.
Yesterday we went to the lake. Played with the boat. Had a total blast. I sat under the pop-up and read for a while. Had to verbally chastise some nasty hoochie-mamma who was floating on her tube in a PUBLIC beach area with her top down and her huge-o nasty ta-ta's hanging out catching some sun. The boys were giggling like crazy and sneeking peeks. I finally told her that nobody wanted to see her nasty ole fun-bags and to tuck them away. That if I wanted my boys to see tits I would make sure they saw some cute nice perky one's but since we were on a public beach with the reasonable expectation of no nudity, I suggested she put them away before I called the cops and had her arrested for indecent exposure (I was waving my camera at her telling her I had evidence!).
On a more positive note, I rode on the flying tube and actually FLEW!!! WE have a Manta-Ray tube that is total fun. The big difference between 297 pounds and 166 pounds is the amount of air you can grab on the tube!!! AT 297 I couldn't get it up off the water. AT 166 I got about 3' off the air! Damn, that was fun.
I bailed out of there around 5 with Jayden to get him back to momma. Wow - can't wait for school to be out and we don't have to worry about getting him home early so he can get to bed. We're shooting for a 8 pm drop off time. But, we're also going to be doing a 2 week with dad, 1 week with mom schedule. Dad is soooooo looking forward to it. Totally needs more dad time.

Well, where did my weekend go? This past weekend seems like it just disappeared. I had wedding to attend & all kinds of festivites to go to. Wow! It was soo much fun, but I am so relieved it is all over with. Now, I can relax and enjoy my time off from school. Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!

Well, where did my weekend go? This past weekend seems like it just disappeared. I had wedding to attend & all kinds of festivites to go to. Wow! It was soo much fun, but I am so relieved it is all over with. Now, I can relax and enjoy my time off from school. Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!

Janine, sounds like you had a great day with the kids yesterday.
Nikki, hope you were able to get a hold of the MD office. Incisions that open are no fun. My hysterectomy incision came open when a staple was pulled out the wrong way and I had to see a nurse three days a week to have it cleaned and packed. It took 6 months for that sucker to completely heal. Ugh!
My weekend was quiet. Saturday was grocery shopping. Always exciting...lol Not! Sunday, Matthew was at California Speedway all day playing 'Mr. Race-Car Driver'. How he can afford to go race when we don't have the money, I don't know. But I digress. Yesterday was quiet too. Just hung around the house. Finally got the propane tank filled and threw some steaks on the grill. Yummy!
Today I have sent out two resumes and I have an interview with an employment agency in Upland. Please say a prayer, send good vibes, think good thoughts for me. I really need a job, like yesterday. I am stressing big time and freaking out over finances.
