Average Wait Time........

I am a Kaiser patient, having my RNY through Pacific Bariatic Surgical Group. How long should I wait for them to contact me with a surgery date? It's been 2 weeks yesterday since I had my pre-op appointment with Dr. Zorn. He told me it'll take a few days to get the results back from the internist and psych..... And of course then their was the holiday but I've been ready since my last day of class back in February! I want my date and I want it now LOL

Hi Theresa, I'm a Zorn baby too. =) I went through Kaiser in Fontana. I finished classes in January 2008 and had surgery April 29, 2008. I had some extra tests that had to be done, that's why it took a bit longer for me to have the surgery, but I was told that it could take 2-4 weeks from the time I had my consult with Dr. Zorn, psych eval and appt. with the Internist (all were done in the same day). Good luck on your weightloss journey. =)

OK, I called PB and was told everything is back from the other Doctors and that Dr. Zorn will look them over and if all is good, he'll sign them off. Was told I could probably get my call for availability by the end of the week, if not next week for sure! Yea....... Please let it be today or Friday!! Thanks for the info and the push to call.
