Surgery Today!
Thanks for the well wishes! I'm home and everything went really really well. I just LOVE Dr. Ali! He's amazing! I was walking the halls as soon as they let me up. Thats all Ive been doin, walking, sipping and resting.
I feel great! Just a little pain still in my left side but I know thats totally expected. I cant wait to sleep on my stomach again!

I am only 3 days post op. Walking has really helped me with digestion and heartburn. I haven't been able to eat much at all and haven't come close to getting in all my protein, but I am making sure I am hydrated. I also didn't stay up on my pain medication and learned the hard way that I still need it.
Get lots of rest and walking in. I am looking forward to hearing how things are going for you.

My main concern is keeping myself hydrated. So my water intake is most important.
Since we're on clear liquids and cant do the protein shakes. I found some liquid proteins that are thin like water but I think I'm only getting in about 25grams a day right now.
If you dont have one, get a gymboss. Look it up on amazon.com. Its an interval timer. I got a pink one for about 20 bucks on amazon. It really has helped me keep track of my sipping. I doubled my water intake with this thing. I love it!
