GOOD THURSDAY MORNING CALI!!!!!!!!
I'm game with a SF Bay Area Road trip. I am an excellent tour guide, lived here all my life. I think we should plan it for Aug, what do you think?
Well, regarding the job, it is posted on their internal website but not yet on Edjoin, so I can't apply formally until it is! UGH. I sure do wish they would hurry up. I have begun emptying my office as I had brought so much stuff with me. I have applied to a few others, as I just can't be without a job for too long. I do believe that the one at the District across the bay is the one, but just have to be patient and pray!
We are leaving for Hawaii June 13th and we will see my surgery twin, Mary in Oahu, she and her husband will be there. I will see Nancy aka Sunray and her husband Lon in Maui! I am so excited as Ron has never been there and I have so much to show him!
So let's think of a date for SF/Bay Area trip and I will start planning!
Hugs,
Barb
We will see about August....you know I am a SF native Barb? Lived all my life in the bay area until I moved here 9 years ago. Seems like yesterday!

Morning Joy!
Thanks for getting the morning post rolling. I was going to do it, but was dorking around and then went back to bed for a while. I love people pitch hit!
Sounds like you have been a super busy camper...or construction worker. I am impressed and I am looking forward to seeing the results!
I am going down to my school in awhile. NEed to get my ass in gear. I am groggy cuz I had to take something to sleep. I am seriously having sleep deprivation. I am looking forward to seeing the kids. They do not know that I am coming and I want to surprise the little buggers!!! I also going to get Hunter today since I will be right there. It will be the 1st time to have him since I had surgery. I will play with him for the afternoon until daddy Scott comes and gets him...should be fun!
Well Joy I hope you and the rest of the crew have a super terrific day!!!

Thank God nothing is going on today! I sure hope it stays that way. dh is suppose to deliver the original paperwork to the bank for the stop payment. I'll sure have comments if he forgets! I have to drop the birth certificate for ds over at the bank after work. If they don't give me the right answers $10,025.00 will be moving from that bank to the nice people who did that stop payment for me at the local one in Rosamond (those guys ROCK!).
busy day but have to wait to get it all done AND dh is coming to take me out to lunch..our normal Wednesday routine but it's Thursday. I'm happy it's nearly Friday.
We built our house from the ground up..I sure do wanna see those room pictures. We're suppose to build another house but...hubby is getting older, we have no money and the housing market flat sucks...so why bother?

Woot ! Woot! Its Thursday!!! I am so excited that this week is going by sooo fast. I can't wait for the weekend. I went to the Angels Game last night and ofcourse we kicked A_s!! Wooohoooo!! It felt so great to finally sit comfortably in those seats. The last time I was at a game I weighed 326lbs and this time I weighed 169lbs. WoW ! What a difference on how you fit in those seats. And squeezing by people was no problem. It was kinda fun not having guys give me some awkward look when I needed to get by. This time tough, I made some "really" nice friends cause I had to squeeze my little but past them to get food. But I was disappointed that Angels Stadium doesn't sell a lot of healthy food. I guess that doesn't surprise me considering they are known for their $7.00 hot dogs or $4.00 bottle of water. It was kinda tricky finding food I could eat and not feel guilty about. Luckily, I always carry a protein bar with me just in case & that did the trick for my hunger pains..lol
Tonight, is my local support group meeting, which should be tons of fun. But, even better, I might hit the MAC store before the meeting. I am so in love with their products! When I had to go to the wedding over this past weekend, I had them do my makeup. All I can say is "Damn, I looked so HOT!" I do have some pics in my profile if anyone wants to check out the MAC face!
Hope everyone has a fantastic Thursday!

I'm telling you, I am sold on these products! I had my makeup done at 12:00 pm. and I had a girl tell me at 11:30 pm that my makeup looked exactly the same as it did at 3:00 pm. It was worth spending the $50 on products to have it done. I would do it again in a heart beat. I am usually a Estee Lauder or Clinique girl, but not anymore. I even swear by the spray they used to set my makeup. OMG! You are one lucky mom to have a daughter that is talented and can give you hints about applying the perfect foundation! But you are right! Tell them to just have her paycheck sent to the MAC store using direct deposit...lol

I actualy don't wear alot of make-up...much to her dismay..lol I used to until menopause...then the sliding face started..lol Now, I use a bit of "primer" called Photo Finish (daughter recommended) by Smashbox (right next to the MAC counter..lol)..it is faintly tinted and has a good sunblock, over that I just brush a bit of Bare Escentuals. When I lose some more weight, I will go for a makeover, my daughter is dying to strap me into a swivel chair and get her haqnds on me..lol...right now I still like being "invisable". We all know that feeling, huh.
Take care!!!
