Well I have a date!!!

I went and seen my surgeon this morning and he has scheduled my surgery to have my gallbladder removed on June 23...a day before my Birthday.  My DH said...well I guess you're going to get flowers for you Birthday...he is so cute!!!

The surgeon said that I will have to stay at least one night in the hospital, then a couple days of rest and back to work...Now, that is if he can do the surgery laproscopic, but he said it would depend if there is to much scare tissue...after a couple c-sections and a hysterectomy.  If he has to open me up then it would be about 4-5 days in the hospital and a lot longer recovery.

So, please keep me in your prayers that the surgery will be laproscopy.

First of all, sorry it is so far away, I know how the waiting sucks!!! Second of all, of course you have my prayers for lap surgery and for a successful surgery with easy recovery!!! You should ask if they can add a few nip and tucks while they are there! lol  especially if they end up having to NOT do lap!!!!

It was so funny that you called just as I was posting to you.  I am so exited that you are coming today!  I have not seen you for a long while.   If you need help with your grandaughter while you are in the hospital you just let me know my dear.  I look forward to seeing you and if there is anything you need you just let me know.

Hi Michele,

Here's hoping that your surgery will be done laparoscopically (sp?).  If it helps give you hope, I had two C-sections and a previous hysterectomy and they were able to take mine out via lap.  So...maybe yours will work out that way too!
