I am looking for a PCP with in Sutter that will be willing to referr out a patient to this surgeon. he is apart of Sutter. My friends doctor is refusing to do so. So want to help her find a doctor that will.

My PCP is Dr. George Hisatomi, at the Sutter Laguna Medical Center in Elk Grove. He is a wonderful doctor...fantastic bedside manner. Of course, a relationship would need to be established with him, but I do believe he would willingly refer any person he felt was a good candidate for surgery.

I have to tell you, he used to be quite fearful of referring patients for any bariatric surgery years ago because of a death in the practice related to such. But, he has since changed his mind about the life-saving aspects of these surgeries. He is thrilled every time I see him now!

And, you couldn't ask for a better surgeon than Dr. Waldrep...he is top notch!!

How have you been since I saw you in October?
Congrats on the new job, btw. Things here are good...I have nothing worth complaining about. What a great feeling!

Anyway, I pop over once in a great while to lurk and look for anyone in my area. Kinda like a treasure hunt.

I am doing good, love the job!!! I am finally getting my hernias fixed, good bye to the alien biotches!!! June 30 and they are removing the panni at the same time. Because of how extensive my hernia repair will be, it will really be a "tummy tuck", so I'm excited about that, but scared too! I can't wrap my head around having a flat stomach without hernias or flapping skin!!! lol

Good luck with the surgery...it will be worth all the discomfort when you see and feel that flat tummy! I can't wait until I can get mine done. I will be heading to Dr. Q in Mexico for my procedures as soon as I can find a spare $11 grand. It may be a while.
