Happy Thursday Cali!

Hope everyone has a great day today Cali!  I have us down for a NEGATIVE 70.3 . . . I grabbed some of the info from people who didn't post weight yesterday . . . but did post about being in onderland and how much they've lost for the year. . . and I brought their numbers up to what their ticker said (I figured that was legal . . .Jenn) . . . but wahoo . . . we're doing great!

Had a rough day yesterday . . .my grandson had a 15 minute seizure . . . DIL had no car at home . . . 911 didn't answer after holding for 10 minutes.  She sent out a text saying "I need help" . . . and my friend got it . . . called her and then police dispatch . . .had an ambulance here in 5 minutes . . .but then they couldn't take my granddaughter with them . . . so my friend again to the rescure and took Myla . . . my daughter's phone was dead . . . I wasn't at my desk . . .yadda yadda yadda . . . so once I found out, I was on my way home and had Myla and Grandma time . . . took her to see UP . . . and then dinner with my daughter . . . Myles is doing fine now . . .they admitted him for observation . . . are giving them some super meds to stick "up there" which should knock any seizure down to 2 minutes max . . . and he should be coming home today - they might do an MRI . . . or one of those tests today because the seizures are getting longer . . . not cute to say the least..

So I have to cancel my first "official" training walk tonight because I'm not going to have a car again today so my son can get to work . . .but I'll just go walk by myself again . . . I did get my Phase 1 check-in for the 3 Day done yesterday . . . wahoo . . . and my team captain should be back from vacation today . . . got a hunch I will find out if the rest of the team is in or out today or tomorrow . . . out of the 4 of the other members, they only have a total of $275 in donations . . . I might be doing this by myself . . . we shall see.

Good Morning Chris and Cali Guys and Gals,

If I did not tell you already (I have sometimers), I had such a great time meeting you on Sunday.  You are a fun gal and a real trooper to put up with all of our silliness!  lol.  Sorry to hear about your grandson.  Siezures are hard to deal with.  My litle Sara has them but only very mild.  I took her off the medication as she seems to have more when she is on the meds than when she is off and they are more severe on meds actually.

Well lets see today I have some ladies coming at 7:00 a.m. to test out MOMO's famous fruit portien smoothie.  Then picking up Michelle aka Desert sunrise.  Then to Curves to work out.  Ashley is going to go with us and htat is exiting.  I don't know if you met her at Disneyland or not, but I think that you did.  Then I am coming home and passing out as I only got about 2 hours of sleep last night between the dog being displaced and jumping up and down off my bed and thne my husband snoring!  Hubby was supposed to go and paint one of our good freinds home, but not in this weather, so now I have to figure out what I want him to do all day.  Any ideas?  lol  I think babysit while I take a giant nap!  lol. 

Well I could go on forever as you all know I love to talk.  If you want to read a funny story about why I was up all night go look under Momo and Becky are in trouble I am after MOMO telling me what am I doing up this early!  lol.

Wow Chris, what a stressful day you had yesterday! I am sorry the little guy had to go through that. Your DIL, friend and you too! Hopefully he will be doing much better today.

Gee I guess it is Thursday already huh? Very cool 'cause that means tomorrow is a TGIF right!???!?!! WoooooWhoooo!

Man we sure had some crazy thunderstorms here in the San Bernardino foothills yesterday afternoon. It was dark and threatening as I left work in Ontario yesterday at 4:30. Lot's of lightning and thunder all the way home. Scary really. Was just waiting for a bolt to hit my truck as I drove on the 210 through Fontana!!! Got home and the dogs were scared to death and freakin' out. D got home about 5:30 with the light show in full force. Literally as soon as he got in the garage the rain and hail started and kept going off and on for about an hour and a half. Then things started calming down and we all (us and the fur kids) started to relax. Pretty weird for June around here!

Well, time to get cleaned up and off to work.... wishing al of you a wonderful day!

Good Morning Chris and the wonderful Cali Gang.

What a storm we had yesterday.  I love the rain, lightning and thunder.  It was so cool.  We got hail to up here in the desert.  I made it cool off nicely.  The radio just said we are going to get some more which is fine by me.  I love the smell of the rain.

Chris...I hope your grandson is doing better today.  Siezures can be so scarey.  I am glad you got grandma time with your granddaughter yesterday and that you are close enough to be there to help.  I can't wait to be a grandma one day. 

I am getting back on track with my protein and trying hard to lay off so many carbs.  I should be able to get some protein powder early next week and I am going to get back to doing at least 2 a day.  I haven't done protein drinks in 3 years and it is about time I get back to them.  I am going to look for some greek yogurt too.  Becky let me try her peanut butter stuff made with yogurt and boy was it good.  I want to make that and have it with some apples or celery.  It was so yummy and creamy.

Thanks  Rhonda.  I still have your # and I will let you know.  Although, if you do 8 miles, you may kill me.  I think the most I have done so far is about 2.5 or 3.  that was pretty hard on me because I have a heel spur that hampers me walking a whole lot.

Wow! My son had a seizure years ago. What an ordeal! They helicoptered him to the hospital and stayed several days. They had no idea why he had the seizure but my accessment is that he cut his first tooth and had an ear infection starting (after two days, they decided his ears were infected!) and spiked a fever..He was on phenobarbitol for two years and then we weened him off.

The good thing is,he's a healthy and happy 17 year old getting ready to turn 18 here in October. I worried for a long time that he'd hit his head and have another seizure...so I had to turn my head when he'd climb on things. YOu know, boys have to climb stuff and jump off things...it's a natural thing...

Chris so sorry to hear about your grandson, I am keeping him and your family in my thoughts and prayers and sure hope today is a better one for you.

Well, off to get ready for work.  Ron will go over and pick up my step Mom in SF and bring her back for the weekend.  She's so much fun and we love being together.  She and Ron tease each other and they get crazy.

I have my first Pops band rehearsal tonight as we get ready to play the gig on July 4th.  That ought to be fun.  Anyone who wants to come hear some great music and picnic and watch fireworks all for free is invited!  It's in Pleasant Hill at College Park High School.

So that's the day, weird weather here too.

good morning chris and cali friends,
i'm up early before everyone else.. so it's nice and quite.. i've started going to the back doc and a difference it makes with each adjustment... i found out that i have a fracture in my middle back and i have neck spasms all the time.. and they took me off all the pain meds... and put me on musle relaxers.. joy what fun.. so i'm doing pretty ok though considering.. well time to get ready for the day.. have an awsome day,,,
