You are doing the right thing,  Love him enough to allow him to hate you.   He may hate you for a while and get through this and then love you like he never has before.  That is the goal.  Cut the cord and allow him to hit that bottom and then pull himself up on his own.  If it is meant to happen it will.  We will keep you in our prayers as it is going to be emotionaly hard on you to 
do but you will come through it and be proud.

Sending you HUGE huggs and major prayers honey!!! I know this isn't easy, but you are a great person and Aunt and I know God will lead you in the right direction. You are not a quitter no matter what and you have to think of your own health in all of this too.  May God give you the strength needed to be the help your nephew needs, whatever that may be.

Pack his stuff and put it out on the porch.  If he wants to talk, tell him just what you told us, but be firm. 

You have enough to take care of without taking care of a drone who is "using" you.

I had to do the same with my son.  It hurt, but he lived, and is doing much better nowadays.
