COLD MEDICINE RECOMMENDATION

Ok, it's official.  I have my first really nasty bad cold since my surgery.  I used to always take alkaselzer cold and flu and now that's not an option due to all the fizzy-bubblies.  What works the best with our altered insides?   I feel like I've been run over by a dump truck and it's sitting on my chest!  Help!

Go home, take some Nyquil, drink some warm tea  and go to bed.  I am sorry you are feeling so bad.  I like Nyquil but only if I can go to bed early and sleep for 10 hours.

I hope you feel better soon.

I like Nyquil and Dayquil liquids too.  I'm so outta here as soon as I get a couple of major things done

How Are you?  i have not seen you much on the boards.  It was all because of you that I got my Baybee!  She is doing so good and she is soooooooo spooooooiiiiiiiiled.  She did keep me up last night though.  But I love her with all my heart no matter what, but I don't think anyone could love anyone as much as she loves me.  She is so good and I can't even begin to thank you enough for your information and you telling me where to go to get my Baybee.  Do you ever go to the Long Beach Coffee?  I would love to buy you a coffee there and get to know you better.  Maybe we could bring our dogs and have a play date with them?  They would love it or at least my Baybee would.

Good to see you on.

Mo,

Sorry to hear your not feeling well...go home and get some rest...

I am sure your immune system was low from all the weekend partying...see what happens when we get a little older...we can't even party without getting sick...lol

Take care of yourself lady!!!

MO,

I only know a few things that work.  Whiskey, mixed in tea with a dab of honey and lemon and before you drink that you go to your local jewish deli and get a thingy of soup,   Then you jump into bed, eat the jewish chicken soup, down the whiskey, cover yourself up really good, no matter what do not take the covers off and when morning comes you will be stinky but you will feel a ton better.   If you were closer I would come and take care of you my dear, but a day and a half walk is just a bit too much for me!  Get Better.

Thank you!  I just defrosted some of my home made chicken soup I had in the freezer.  As soon as that's down, I'm off to bed.  Nyquil on board as well as mucinex.  Somebody please call the zoo and tell them one of their elephants got out and is now sitting on my chest!  At least it's mega quiet here as the old man's gone to Jayden's last baseball game!

Thanks for all the get better wishes.  Off to bed I go!

I like the Mucinex, my doc also recommends it.
