Approved!!!!!!!!

I've been approved for RNY!
YAY!

I'm sooo happy and relieved. I have been calling my insurance coordinator all week and have never been able to speak to her... I've only got the run around (We will send it sometime this week. No I don't know when, It hasn't been sent yet, etc.) from some lady who isn't my coordinator. Whoever the lady was I kept talking to lied about it not being sent in yet when I asked on wednesday.

I ended up calling my insurance company to find out if they had gotten the papers yet and found out they had recieved them on monday and that I had already been approved!

Now I just have to get them to schedule me!

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate it. It's such a long journey but I know I have it much easier than most people, so I'm very grateful. At least I have the means to get the surgery now, which is more than many can say sadly.

Healthcare reform... how weird it is that some people think it really isn't an issue...
