Miss Rhonda informed me that I had better post because people are going to start worrying as to where I was.

I have been around, but not feeling so great. I had my little Miss AvaBear yesterday and as the day progressed, I got sicker and sicker. I thought originally it was muscle relaxer that doc had given me, then I thought it was because I didn't drink coffee...then it was just like...crap I feel bad! LOL

I hate to come to the boards and complain that I don't feel good....and complain that I am still in pain. I went and saw Dr. K on Tuesday....first time ever I had to be drained....trust me I was not happy about that one. Had to get this creme to heal one of the wounds...it is not bad or anything...not torn out...just needs some help I guess. I have to work to get one of the girls to drop...trust me it is not pleasant to pu**** down into the capsule. UGH!!!

Upshot is that the bras I bought a week after surgery are too big...he said I need smaller ones to get more compression. Best thing I like about this surgery...I am smaller in the bubbie department than ever before and I have no bra spilage again....YAY!!!

So aren't you all glad that today is Friday? I had to ask the buy in Best Buy what day it was when I picked up my computer yesterday. I have now completely lost track of time....that is only going to get worse too!

What are all of your plans for the weekend? Did I hear fun on the horizon for all of you? That is the way it should be...minimal responsibilities and a whole lot of fun? I hope that the weather will cooperate and you all can get outside and enjoy the great outdoors!!!

I know out here in the desert we have not really seen the sun for quite a few days!  Even had the dry lightening to the point that it has been igniting palm trees here!! YIKES!!! I know two people died of lightening strikes the other day, and out at Cabazon a lady was struck in the parking lot! I think she is okay. Good ole mother nature strutting her stuff for sure!

Well you all have a great day....water, vitamins, moving...don't forget!!!

Have a great day all!

PEACE OUT!!!

Good Morning Janine and Cali Friends!

Happy Friday!!!  I'm so sorry you are feeling so "yucky" Janine!  I hope you get to feeling better real soon.

It's been hard this week getting back in the groove of things....after vacation and all.  This weekend is catching up on the chores around the house and spending lots of time with the grandkids.  Tommy is going on vacation down to Palmdale and then to Conneticut and into Massachusetts!  My little world traveler!!!  I will miss him so much.  He just learned how to ride his bike without training wheels and talk about proud!!!!  OmG!  He thinks he can travel the world now!  But at 9 years old I guess you feel like you can!  He's my special little guy and I'm so glad he is getting some great confidence in himself!

Any way, I just thought I should say "Hey there, You Guys!"  I have the EMG/NCS on my wrist next week.  Not really looking forward to that one.........but like everything else I will get through it!

Have a great Friday!!!

Jeni

Morning Janine and Cali . . . glad to see you ladies posting!  Sorry you aren't feeling chipper Janine . . . hope it is better today.

My little munchkin is home from the hospital . . . they are weaning him off one type of meds for the seizures and slowly transiting to another type . . . meanwhile Myla bird was just crying in the bedroom "owie owie - I hurt" . . . and came out to me with cheeks pink as can be . . . with a 103 temp . . . I had to wake mommy up because they didn't even hear her . . . and we got tylenol into her and water because she was "so very thirsty grandma" . . .

Tomorrow I'm walking the arthritis walk . . . was supposed to have both kids and mommy with me . . . I'm thinking NOT . . . but we shall see tomorrow . . . then I work at Costco on Sunday.  Other than that . . . not a thing . . .

Hope everyone has a great day . . . and weekend!

Chris,

A good way to break a fever is to rub the body down with rubbing alcohol.  It cools the body down and forces the fever to break.   That is what my mother did for me and worked like a charm every time. After you rub you grandbaby with the alcohol, make sure she stays under the covers-- that will make the fever brake faster.

thanks Kim . . . I suggested a cool bath . . . but her momma was on the phone to the doctor . . .and they said "no" to both those ideas . . . it's to much of a shock to their system . . . AND . . .she used to have seizures too so they didn't want to instigate anything happening with those again . . . BUT I mixed some propel powder in water and she loves that stuff, so was happy to drink it . . . and we got her down to 100 when I left for work today.

Thanks . . . it's amazing my kids lived through my doctoring!  I would have stuck them in the bath right away.

Chris

Good Morning Janine and the cali crew!!

Been trying to post something for a bit but things have been busy this morning at work.  I am sitting at my desk now, looking out my window and the huge storm clouds that are coming in.  They are so pretty and it looks like it is going to be a great storm today.  I hope it waits until this afternoon to rain since I walk home from work everyday.  It is Friday too and I have to walk and cash my check first and then go home.  Doesn't sound like fun to do in the rain.

Take care of yourselves Janine, Momo, Becky and anyone else who is sick.  I hate being sick and I don't ever have time to be so I work hard at not getting sick.  At least it is Friday and you all can rest over the weekend.

Not much planned for me this weekend.  Today is daughter #3's birthday.  She is sweet 16 today.  We are not doing much because I am pretty broke.  She just wants to take a cake to church next wednesday to share with her youth group.  One of my friends is taking her to lunch today which is sweet of her.

Have a great weekend everyone!!

Good morning Janine and Cali Guys and Gals,

How is everyone this soon to be raining morning?  I did not sleep well last night again, I forgot to turn the TV off so I had horrible dreams about what was happening on the TV!    I guess I was just to lazy to find the remote and turn the TV off!  Oh Well.  I am on my way to work out in a few minutes. Drama already with the neighbor people I am doing this with.  Long Story.  Well I hear the winds are going to be bad today along with rain and lightning, so no walk later today for me.  Traffic is going to be a bear on a Friday with bad and rain.  Everyone drive safely and have a great weekend.  I am going to clean out this darn garage.  MOMO I will try and figure out how to send pictures (no promises) when I am done as It is going to be my office/Gym and that is it!  lol  Good luck right!  lol.  Ok my dears I will chat with you more when I get back from the gym.

Good Morning Janine & Everyone,
I am very glad it is Friday because I am off, I am seeing the PA for my follow up visit (hopefully I can get some resolution to the open area, yes it is still there), and the hottie Corporal starts his 5 days straight so starting so tomorrow I will have 4 days to hopefully see him and flirt, lol. I have more to do today than I like when I only have one day off, but thats life.
I am sorry you dont feel well. Healing really takes too long and is a pain. Just take it easy relax and do what Dr K tells you!!
Oh well off to start my day. Hope everyone has a good day. Be good to yourselves and those around you!!!

Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations.
I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty,
believe in them, and try to follow where they lead.

Ohhhhhhh, I got some sleep last night!  Thank God for Nyquil!  I slept from 4:30 until 10:30 and then again from 1:00 am until 6:00 am.  Not feeling 100% but not in the crapper still.  Someone still needs to call the zoo and tell them their elephant is out and sitting on my chest!

I'm at work today and we'll see for how long.  Joe will be home sometime later tonight with Jayden.  I don't have any plans for this weekend except to rest and get better.

Well, better get at it.  Everyone have a wonderful day!  I will try and post my pictures from this weekend soon.
