Good Morning Janine and Cali..

Janine, I sure hope you get to feeling better soon. You are in my thoughts and prayers always.

Not only is it TGIF, woo hooo... BUT it is also the last day of school.. YEA!!

I am super busy, as I have so much to do this weekend. My sister is here in CA just 2 hours away, (she came up to move her sister in law back to Tucson, Az)  so I am going to go see her this weekend. I can't wait.. I haven't seen her since my Gram and Pop's memorial, so it will be nice to see her again.

I hope and pray you all have a safe wonderful weekend. And maybe just for this weekend you can put the cleaning aside, and just have some fun..

Hugs and Luv to you all,
Jenn

Good morning Janine and Cali Crew,

Janine, I sure hope you are feeling better today, I always worry about you when you do not post. You are one of our Main stay friends on here.

Sun is out here here in So. Orange County.

Gotta get moving today. Shopping, cooking and getting ready for my daughters Bachelorette Party tomorrow night. We will be here having ****tails and healthy snacks, to Yard House for dinner then on to dancing the night away. I am the official driver, rented a twelve passenger van to get everybody around, then slumber party here after dancing.

Boys are in Mammoth fishing and we are having a girls weekend. Gotta Love It.

Take care My Cali Friends. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Hugs & Love,

Karen

Good morning Janine and Cali-

Hope you fell better real soon Janine we miss your posts.  I am doing OK, eating because it is on my schedule to eat, but not hungry.  I am drinking about 26-30 oz of fluid a day.  That is all I can get in.  Today I think I will try and walk outside for the first time.  It means putting on a bra-yikes!  I have an incision right at the point my bra goes under my breasts, it killed me coming home from the hospital.  Maybe I will try a stretchy sports bra instead of an under wire.

Other than that things have been going OK since the surgery.  I am back to 169, I gained about 8 pounds in the hospital (I guess from the gas they blow you up with and all the IV fluids).  This week has gone so fast.  Hope everyone has a nice day.

Doloris...
Oh Lordy!!  NO underwire yet!!   A nice soft cotton bra 1 band size too big for atleast 2 weeks.  A sports bra is ok if it buckles in the back ..but don't try to climb into a non clip one just yet.  Tighten the straps if you need to..but NO underwire yet....I am well endowed, I know from where I speak..lol
feel better soon!!

Kim,
Under wire is all I have except for a few sports bras that pull over like a t-shirts.  I got these when my shoulder was bad and I could not hook a bra.  They are very soft and kind of big now so should work out fine.  I wore and under wire home from the hospital and it is only 5 mins from my house and I almost died!

I always wore underwires only...but was given instructions from my surgeon's office to "wear a soft cup bra one or two sizes too big," right after surgery.  Holy Mackerel, when I did have the courage to put on an underwire, I thought..."this is it...Lane Bryant will go out of business"..lol, cuz I thought for sure I couldn't wear an underwire anymore. I keep them in business..lol.  I waited until 1 month post op to try again..ofcourse after staples were removed and swelling had gone down.  By then I was in my regular sized bra...and my soft ones I used to wear to bed for about 3 months...or until the skin stopped tugging when I turned over.  Comfort will return...you will look back 6 months from now and wonder what all the fuss was about..lol
Happy Healing...

You are doing well to get 26-30 oz of fluid a day.  Wishing a great and rewarding WLS journey.

It sure is good C'ING LESS OF ME!

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they

ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

Good Morning Janine & Cali Friends,

Thang god it's FRIDAY!!! This has been one hella week!! I have been so busy at work, we are getting ready for auditors to do our audit next week. Hopefull everything goes well. Since our loan department is pretty accurate on our figures things should go fine, but there is always something that seems to pop up. Other than that, home life has been super busy as well. My mom is getting ready to go on her big vacation tomorrow. She is leaving for 18 days for Australia & New Zeeland. I wish she would take me with her, but then again 18days, 24hours a day with my mom,hmmmm..I think I'll stay home!! I love her, but I think I would go nuts if I had to spend that much time with her.

Other than that, Sat should be pretty fun. I am hanging out with my BFF, we are going to paint the town red!!. We are crazy together, but I think I am a little more crazy than she can tolerate. She loves the fact that I will walk up to anyone and start talking to them. I told her that, there is no way I would have been like that before surgery.

Hope everyone has a great day!
