Thanks for the compliment, I hope I didn't offend anyone too much at the last meeting. It seems since I have lost so much weight, Iand I have suddenly gained ADD!! I can no longer sit still. The girls at work think I'm nuts and practically have to velcro me to my desk!! It's weird, I will be fine one moment, then I will get this huge burst of energy and I can't sit still. But, yeah, you are great, too! If I could rub some of this energy off on you, trust me, I will...LOL

Janine, I hope to start to feeling better soon.

I don't have anything planned for this weekend except work. I am working today, but don't go in till 11am. I am working extra, but only 8 hours, which is nice. I am also working tomorrow. So Sunday will be a lazy day for me. I survived my first training session with my new trainer. It went really well, but I am so sore this morning. At least with working, I do so much walking, it will help to stretch my legs out LOL. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Chris, so glad to hear that your munchkin is home fro the hospital.  Sure is scary when our munchkins are not feeling well.  Good luck at the walk and take care.

Stacie, my son (Chris), his wife (Cheri) and two daughters (Caylin and Caysie) live in Victorville.  Cheri told me it looked like rain for today. Ah, Sweet 16----I remember when I was Sweet 16.   I also remember when my sons were not so sweet at 16. LOL  Have a great weekend.

Rhonda, Orange County looks good as far as weather is concerned.  LA got rain last night, but it missed Orange County. Have a safe and relaxing weekend.

Nikki S, ditto-TGIF!  It has been real hectic with fiscal year end.  Just think-after June 30th you will not hear fiscal year end again from me.  LOL Wishin you well.

Thank you for calling the zoo.  This sucker's heavy!

I feel so sad today...You all have probably heard of the lady who died when struck by lightning in Fontana.  She was walking under a tree when it hit.  My daughter and I were at the Metrolink, a block or so from where she was struck down.  It was exactly 4:30 when a thunder clap so loud it made my ears ring and I DUCKED while in my car!  It was directly overhead.  Now, I was born and raised in Upstate NY so I am not shocked by thunder...I had no doubt it hit close...but I was so saddend to know the life it took. My sweet daughter (18) just keeps saying..."Somebody died at that moment"...it hurts her to see the uncontrollable parts of life and death.  She felt the impact the way we older folks felt at 9/11.  I just calmly told her when we saw the news about it, that it goes to show that we must always be ready in our soul...we can be gone in "the blink of an eye".  Each and every decision we make must be for the good of others, no matter what our faith or another's.  May we keep the mother of four from Fontana in our thoughts and prayers today, and ofcourse the other tragic deaths caused by Mother Nature across the US in the last few days.

I am off today to get ready for the big shindig tomorrow.... Ron's graduation party!  BBQ and music playing, can't wait.  So we're on tap to clean the house and do some last minute shopping.  My Step Mom is here so we'll have a good time for sure.

Happy Friday everyone!!!

This is just a real quick hello as I am out of here in about a half hour. My little one is being promoted from kindergarten. He's so funny all excited, you's think it was a high school graduation. He took over an hour last night deciding what he would wear. He's such a fashionista, just like his older brother.

This weekend consists of baseball, baseball and more baseball. We have closing ceremonies and championship games for both boys. I am hoping Sunday is an easy day, maybe get in some relaxation of course between laundry loads. The joys of motherhood.

Robin - I am hoping Brody's doing great this morning and you're hangin' in there. Let us know how it all goes.

Janine - Glad to see you this morning but bummed you're feeling icky. I sure hope you get to feeling better real soon.

Rhonda - You are an exercise queen. Curves and walking... and now with upping that protein, shoot you'll be skinny minnie in no time!! Keep up the good work.

Momo and Becky - I sure hope you guys kick that cold and start feeling better soon. Take care of yourselves.

Mornin' Cali...
well my Friday is not off to a good start.  I was already at the dentist today for 3 hours!!!  I look like a chipmunk.  nothing major though, just changing out my silver for the white composite stuff.  Anyways, I'm off to do some errands, and hopefully I don't have to talk to anyone.  I'm afraid I'll either drool all over myself, of turn into a sprinkler and shower the person I'm talking to...LOL.  I do have a wedding to go to tomorrow, so I'll be having a little fun this weekend.

Good Morning All,

I have been super busy with work.  It hardly feels like I had a vacation at all.  We are getting ready to move here at work.  I hate moving!  The boss is on vacation and she wants everything done like yesterday.  

I have to work tomorrow.  I will come in, do my hours and leave.  After that, I have a baby shower to go to.  I made a baby blanket, now all I have to do is attach the fringe (should not take too long, huh?).  Sunday, is movies (and hopefully church) with my brother.  He's paying , because I told him that I was flat broke.

Well, after a lot of playing and messing with my schedule lately, I am back to everyone's TGIF being my OCIM (oh crap, it's Monday)!!! Only 3 weeks of work left till surgery though, and I know it will speed by.

Hope everyone has a great weekend and the weather isn't too bad. So VERY sad about the lives taken by lightning. I knew I was justified in my TERROR and HATRED of lightning!!!
