Well Good Morning Cali...and a happy good day to all of you!

I had a super big huge long shout out to all of you...and this computer decided it needed to do updates and I lost everything!!! Super grumbles you can hear all the way from the desert!!!

I cannot duplicate nor do I want to know since I want to go back and spent nearly an hour doing the shout out....grumble again....just know that I  care about all of you....be good to yourselves and even when you just feel down and out for whatever reasons....just come here and there are always people who care and will lend an ear or a shoulder to you! Of course good times are welcomed also!

Have a great day everyone!!!

Good Morning Janine & Everyone,
I am so sorry your computer messed up your shout out. I knew I heard grumbling, didnt know it was you, lol.
Well I saw the PA yesterday and I have to see my surgeon in a month. This surgery left me with dog ears. She doesnt know if it is swelling, but I should see him. I am so frustrated!!!! They can remove them in the special procedure room with me awake. I am not going through anesthesia again!!! Atleast not anytime soon, UGH!!! OH well....patience....
Today is work and I am just about ready to go, I woke up earlier than I wanted too. Of course I was up several times during the night too. Welcome to my sleep patern.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day!!! Be good to yourselves and those around you!!!

Good Morning All..........

Yesterday I had a wonderful day. A good friend came over and we did nothing. The plan was to hang out at the pool, but the weather was not that great. It was not bad, just not warm enough to hang at the pool. So we went golfing, I only signed up for 9 holes since I was not sure how my shoulder or ankle would handle it. Both are doing great, but shoulder was just starting to bother me, so it was good that I only done 9 holes. After that we came back home and change our clothes and went hiking. There was this trailing I have been wanting to do for a long time. So we filled a couple of water bottles and off we went. There is a map that tell you how long enough trail is. We hit the 10 miles trail. It took us about 4 hours, with a nice lunch break sitting along the river/stream. We got to see some great wild life. 2 fox puppies or kits as they are called, red tail hawks, a family of raccoons playing at the water edge, and even a few babies snakes. (don't worry, we didn't play or feed any of them) After the hike, we came back here and we BBQ some hamburgers. Then after dinner we went and sat in the Jacuzzi. My ankle is a bit sore this AM but not to bad. I was told to not do any running or hiking for at least 2 months, but I had the chance to walk that trail and body to go with me. I could not pass up the chance, never knew when it would come around again. Besides, this is summer and normaly it would be to hot to walk that trail, but this weather has been to nice to pass it up.

Today is back to work. UGH! I was going to work some overtime on thursday but the water in the complex was turned off at 11 on thrusday and was not turned back on until after 12 on friday. Can you believe that? Sucks for sure.

I will, I wish you all a great day. Be kind! Smile and be happy.

Sounds like you had a great time Lu,  You deserve it after all that overtime you have put in. But didn't you tell me your doctor said nothing over a mile?  Shame on you for going against your doctors orders!  But if you want to hike on your next day off, ringle me up and maybe we can do lake silverwood.  Let me know.

Lu - it was absolutely wonderfull to meet you on my weekend trip down there!  I had such a blast!  Take it easy on that ankle - the more you rest it, the faster it will heal!

I worked 14 hours straight on Thursday - they called me in at 1:45 am!  OMG I was so butt dragging tired by the end of the day.  On top of all that I've been working 10 hour days too.

Next time I come down, we'll have to plan a good hike in the mix!  Not that Disneyland wasn't a good hike - but one continuous 8 - 10 mile'er  I'll bring my walking shoes

The babies where NOT rattlers, they where everyday garden snakes, but still very cute. I know that babies rattlers can not control how much poison they let go of, so the just let it all go and they will can kill us faster then a mommy or daddy snakes. You have to check in/out with the ranger and they tell you want has been going on along the trial. I think thats to cool. He told us where to look for the babies, so where aware of them before hand. The ranger came along when we kicking back eating, he is the one that pointed out the raccoons to us. Other wise we would have never seen them.

I wish you a great walk. Have tons of fun at the Arthritis walk.
