Back from doc . . . INSTANT relief!

Turns out my band was just too tight . . . so he took out 1 cc (leaving me with 0.75 cc's) . . . and omg the relief INSTANTLY . . . how the heck does a fill from February just kick in now - it's crazy . . . but I still love my band!

Anyway . . . any bandsters out there . . .if you start getting acid reflux . . . get in SOONER rather than later to get it checked out  . . because it only gets worse if you try to martyr it out .. . (umm . . . experience here).  I do have to keep an eye on any more acid problems though - and if it returns, then I have to go hae X-rays and the like . . . which I refuse to even consider any problems with my band.

That's Great, Chris...so happy to hear it was something 'simple' to achieve.One of the biggest benefits for me from RNY surgery was the elimination of heart burn/acid reflux...that burning sensation is not fun!

So glad you are feeling better now!  What a releif for you!  I can't imagine having that.  Are there any more walks that you are doing in the near future?  Any 10K's or 1/2 marathons?  I may come down for one of those.  LEt me know.

Thanks everyone .  . Rhonda . . .the only other walk I'm doing before the big one is the Relay for Life in August   . . . it's at the embarcadaro . . . but it is just having somone on the track at all times for a 24 hour period.  I'm going to just keep on 'trucking around that track because I need to build up endurance . . . if my hips will keep with me!  We have a team from the office . . . bunch of skinny kids lol
