Happy Monday Gang

I know, I know you all are thinking what is so good about it being Monday already...right? I can think of no good reason than it happens. To be on the bright side....at least it is only 4 more days until Friday! So Happy Monday to all of you!

I trust you all had a good weekend...found something in those 2 short days that put a smile on your face. Remember I said find something fun to do and not let the weekend be all about chores and responsibilities.

Inquiring minds do want to know...what did you do?

I had a relatively good weekend. I contemplated my naval....okay only kidding....but I did finish a painting that I started last Sunday....I know crazy...but as I said on Facebook...this is what happens when you are bored as it leads to creativity. Beings I have all the time in the world on my hands it seems...I am sure I am going to be doing a lot of art. I put it out there to name my girl....I think I know what I am going to name her...but if you have any further suggestions...would be greatly appreciated..here she is:

She is not quite a full length painting...but the canvas is 4 ft high....I love distorted abstract people...this one is full of texture and dimension....so name away...the winner will receive.....have to think about that one!

I also got to spend time with my grandchildren....yesterday Hunter was a real card at that park. All you grandparents out there can attest to this...being a grandparent is so much fun!

Chris I surely hope that you are doing okay. It is awful having that reflux...something just isn't right, but you should not have to unfill yourself all the way...you need to get answers from your doc...don't give up! Glad your walk was good too...at least there was a bright spot in the day! Really cute pic btw!

Sue  I hope that shoulder of yours is doing much better. I think you need to go to the doc and have them give you a shot in your shoulder if you get any worse....they really do help. Did Sammi like her pancakes?

Delores you are doing great....you are going to be our resident wls rock star for sure! Just take it easy and everything is normal as in according to Delores and her body!

Michele I hope you enjoyed your quite evening again...I know it is much needed as it is hard raising a little one! You are going to have yourself a busy week with family visiting...so make sure you take care of yourself!

Michelle T...isn't Miss Rhonda just the greatest cheerer upper person? Glad you two connected and you just wait...she is a maniac and will make you exercise your ass off LOL! Glad you had fun at graduation...they are always nice eh? I find them bittersweet each year as I hate to see the 8th graders move on...I miss them...okay I am a sick pup!

Kim in the Valley...it is good to have lazy days....we all need them and I think it is our bodies way of say you know you need to slow down once and a while!

Okay MoMo...I say *****slap the barbarian if you ask me...I know you love him, but sheesh louise...you need to get yourself repaired and resting or sleeping is one of the ways you do it...I hope he made it up to you!

Terry did you have a good weekend? Did you do anything special?

Barb that is so cool that Ron's party was good... but I knew you would make it that way. I have fond memories of Jeff's graduation party and like you...can you believe this...I only took a few pics! I think it is awesome that his buddies traveled up there for him. He will remember this for a lifetime and rub it in gf...going to Hawaii...I am feeling so sorry for you....NOT LOL!

Speaking of which....Nancy is going to be there also this next week in Hawaii...OMG Nancy I am not feeling the pain for you either! LOL....where have you been??? Hiding out....camping out? Craving? Trying on new clothes??? Okay where is the 411?

Jean....I watched that movie last night...."He is just not that into you." I will reserve my opinions until you see it....did you guys have a good time yesterday????

Naomi...what is shakin little girl? Is this your last week of school or do you have to stay way past everyone checking out?

Monica...I know you are on the countdown to the day where you can spend leisurely days with Jordyn!!

Kim where are the pictures of Alaska??? We wanna see!

Heather...how was your weekend? I know you had a busy one....and your baby's graduation...aren't those graduations cool in kindergarden? When I taught elementary...I always enjoyed watching them!

Robin what did you and your family do this weekend? That picture you posted last week was so cute!!!

Nikki how are you feeling? Have you been flirting away at work? I know you just have to bat those beautiful eyes at some guy and he is going to melt!

LuLu did you ever get everything straightened out with that bank crap? That was really scary!!! Hope that dang shoulder of yours is feeling better!

Hey Jules...what did you do this weekend? I think you were going to go out and paint the town with your friend...hope you semi behaved!

Eileen you are right about having to take care of yourself. It is not good not getting enough down time. Are you still sore from your workout? That trainer must have really laid a doosey of a workout on you!

Keem good luck to you on your surgery...wow I do believe it is a week from today!!! We will all gladly welcome you to the losers bench and stick around here so we can all live vicariously through the journey you are about to embark on! BTW....I bet that Yorkie is a real sweetie!

Jenn how did your visit go with your family? I am sure you all had a good time and I am sure you knocked their socks off in the looks department!

ThatKimGirl...sounds like you and Tim are going to have a fun summer for sure! You both are doing so awesome and send my thumbsup to Tim!

Jeni H...hope everything turns out okay with your tests...I know they are not a picnic to have done, but hopefully they will lead to the doctors being able to repair you.

Stacie Z....how was your daughters birthday? Wow sweet 16....that always sounds so magical eh? I think after that it is all downhill LOL!

Karen how did your daughters party go? I am sure you all had a great time...beats the heck out sticky fish and bait...although Mamouth Lake is gorgeous...but on the other hand...I am sure it is still cold up there!

Kim in Fontana...that was downright scary about that lightening strike. I feel sad for the peoples families too....you just nevah know eh?

Javi...how did your wedding go? I know the bride is supposed to get all the attention, but did you wow them? Inquiring minds want to know!

Becky how has work been? I know it is hard when you get use to a schedule and then having to get back in the groove of things, but wasn't it downright worth it with all the fun you had last weekend? Look forward to seeing you on Saturday!!! Just think you are on countdown for the ailen removal!!! YaY!!!

Rhonda no I did not forget you....you know I wouldn't. I know you said you have a busy week ahead of you...and me make plans...nope you know me...Miss Unorganized LOL!!! I have that great looking stroller for you in the back of my jeep...anytime okay? And when that lady said she lived in the middle of nowhere...she was right...hell someone could blow your brains out and would not be found I think!!! LOL

OK yet again I must say I hate you for your creativity, lol. OK so I am just totally jealous!!
I am feeling very tired. All weekend the buildings I was working were on lockdown. So I had to go cell to cell and up and down and up and down more stairs than I can even count!!! I am very tired. As for flirting, he wasnt there this weekend, so I cant figure out his schedule. Bat my eyes, HA!!! If that were the case I would be dating, so obviously that doesnt work since I'm not. Just getting frustrated and felling fed up. Guess I am heading toward being that crazy old lady with cats. UGH!!!!
Oh well off to get ready for work. Try to not get too bored today. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!! Be good to yourselves and those around you!!!

Good Morning Janine and Cali Friends!

I love her Janine!    I will need to think about a name for her....my brain needs to wake up!  lol  She needs a name that will do her justice!

We had a great weekend, of course it went too fast.  I spent yesterday out at the Sacramento Zoo with the grandkids.  We had a great time.  I wanted to spend some time before they left on their summer trips.

Tommy is leaving on his trip to Palmdale, Conneticut and Massachusetts and will be gone a whole month!  Benny is leaving next Friday on a cruise to Alaska with the other Grandparents.....so it will be quiet around here for a while!

Well guys, gotta run.  I hope whatever your day brings you that it will be a great one.

Good Morning Janine and Cali Guys and gals. 

Love the painting Janine and what an awesome shout out that was!  I told my husband to set the alarm for 6 it went off at 5.  I could shoot him, but I think I would go to jail for that, so I better not.  Well lets see, today I have a super busy day with lots and lots of stuff to do.  Dr.'s for my daughter, support meeting, Gym, laundry, nagging all the usual I guess.  Did you all see Chris's hat, it is adorable!  I wonder if MOMO's husband survived the wrath of MOMO without getting enough sleep?  I hope she will update us at her first trip to the library of the Sacramento State Prison.   That is where I would be if my husband woke me up like that,  Hell he did this morning, HOld on MOMO I am on the way to you, Free trip in a prison bus!  lol.  I must be in a good mood this morning.  I am going to go and work out and I just so love to do that.  Then I am hoping to take a little walk for a few miles and you all know how I love those walks.  WEll be good today and do something nice for yourself today!

Morning Janine and Cali!

Fabulous painting!  At least you get to put your talents to work . . . both at work and at home . . . very impressive!  As for names . . . it took me 2 weeks to name my cats lol . .. but if something hits me . . .I'll let you know.  And the shout out was fab too ... I have trouble remembering what I'm up to - do you seriously take notes before you write those?  lol

I'm waiting for the doctor's office to open up . . . and hit them with the"HELP ME" call . . . I'm just hoping they can take out just a bit from the band and it will get better like last time . . . I'm REALLY hoping it isn't a slip . . . but I never eat all that much at one time, so I doubt I have that (if I ignore it it can't be so, right?)  although I DID eat a lot at the wine tasting at Mouse World .. . but this started before then.

Sorry I can't do the lunch on Saturday . . . I only get 1 day next weekend, and I just can't let it go . . . have to take to many others for training walks and actual walks . . . doing the 24 hr Relay for Life in August . . . I'm not walking 24 hours . . .but I'm going to do as much as I can as a training walk . . . because September just isn't that far away for the 3 Day!

Yup, it's Monday. Sammi's happy about it because it means she gets to go to school. I went to the doc in the box yesterday and he started me on prednisone since I can't take ibuprofen. I follow with my regular this week if it doesn't get better.  Keeping my fingers crossed I heal quickly.

Sammi and I had a good pancake breakfast yesterday (Ok well really sammi did cuz I don't eat that stuff) DH got home from work early and worked on drawing Kat's tattoo. Then we headed to Coldstone so he could get his free birthday icecream then off to Best Buy to smell electronics. It's a miracle we didn't buy anything. LOL

Better get a move on. the clock is moving faster than I am.

Happy Monday Morning Janine and the Cali gang.

I wish I could see your picture Janine.  My boss blocks so much stuff on our computers and the site you use to host your pictures is blocked so it won't show up.  I can't even check my yahoo email from work but for some reason, this site isn't blocked. 

My daughters b-day was good.  My friend took her out to lunch and then back to her house for more art lessons.  She is a wonderful painter and sketcher and has been giving my daughter private lessons.  She is doing a good job and picking things up quickly.  She is working on her first painting now and has been sketching everyday.  It is really good for her and she enjoys it so much.

Tomorrow is my oldest daughter's birthday and then my son's is on Saturday.  3 out of 4 of my kids were born in June.  One on the 5th, then the 9th and finally my son on th 13th.  I will be glad when it is finally over.  I just can't belive my oldest will be 23 tomorrow.  Where does the time go??
