Brody had circumcision revision on friday so we didnt do anything this weekend. Poor baby has been in alot of pain! Well Hope everyone has a great day.

Ahhhh, lest everyone worry - the Barbarian survives and I will not be posting from the Sacramento State Prison!  He will be allowed to make it up to me tho!  Repeatedly!  Ha! 

Today brings more leak survey here at work and another very busy day.  After that we're off to go look at another gun safe.  We bought one last year and he's managed to fill it up already.  My parents are buying this one off us and we're buying another one larger.  And, they're having a marvelous sale right now so............  we're going shopping!  We will deliver this one to my parents and set it up for them. 

Took Jayden home last night.  We will pick him up on Friday after his last day of school and we start the 2 weeks with dad / 1 week with mom schedule.  Dad is doing a happy dance!

Off and running folks.  Keep hydrated, take your vitamins, get your protein in (RHONDA!!!) and exercise!   And don't forget to stop and smell the roses once in a while.

Hi Janine and Cali,

The painting looks like an old friend of mine, she was a sultry redhead.  We had a quite weekend, went to walmart and kohls to get my walking in (right).  Got me magic bullet I hear everyone talk about them so decided to finally break down and buy one.

In two weeks I need to go to Cincinnati for a symposium.  I will not have to do too much, but it still worries me if I am expecting to much from myself so soon after surgery.  I decided to call the airline and request assistance for my connecting flight in case they are in different terminals (which they usually are).  Not too sure of what I will be able to wear, things are already getting a little big.  I have a few things that are smaller, but not business like.  I will have to be creative.

Good Monday morning Janine and Cali crew!!! Thanks for the great shout out as usual Janine! As for work, OMG, last night was insanity!!! Julio Eglasias was the concert and it was sold out, which means 3500 people on top of already busy Sunday nights!!
It was CRAZEE to say the least!! Who knew, Julio was so popular and he sang most of the songs in Spanish! whatever is all I have to say!!! lol
And yes, last weekend was SO WORTH it!!!!!
Today brings preop appointments for me! So, it is getting real and I should have some answers today. Scared, excited, freaked out, etc, etc. that is what I am feeling!!!

My BF and I went to the Dodger game last night. They lost but we had a great time. The seats with great-11 rows up from the dugout. When it came to get something to eat, I finally found a sushi place. I had california rolls--just ate the crab meat out of the middle and left the rice alone. My friend told me it was a sin not to eat a Dodger dog. haha. He knows I had surgery and was just teasing.

My daughter is graduating from high school next week and my mother coming to town for it. On top of that, we are moving in the next couple weeks. Should be interesting.

Hello all,

I figured today it was time to stop lurking and start posting again.

You do such a nice post and to address so many people is awesome. It's always nice to see what others are doing around this site. 

I can't believe next month will be 1 year 7/17/08 since my surgery. I so love this tool and I know being active in these types of sites and groups will help me stay focused and driven to keep weight down. I have lost just over 130 lbs now and have never looked back or had regrets.

Happy Monday everyone!!

Hope everyone is having a great start to their week. This weekend was great!!! Friday Gavin was promoted to 1st grade. It was so cute they had caps with tassles and they all moved them after receiving their "diplomas".  Too cute. Next year my oldest will be graduating high school, now that will be huge. Gosh I'm gettin' up there in years. Saturday Garrett (the 10 year old baseball all-star) not only hit an out of the park, smacked the scoreboard home run in his championship game he also was closing pitcher and made the final out to win the game!! It was awesome!!! He is my early retirmenet plan. J/K. Yesterday was church and laundry day. All in all a good weekend. I also officially filed for divorce on Friday which was kind of bittersweet. We've been separated the better part of a year so, it was time. But after 13 years it's still a hard pill to swallow.

Janine - what a gorgeous painting. I love it. You are so talented. I can't wait to hear what you decide to name her.

Barb - So glad the graduation party was such a hit. Too bad you weren't able to get pics. I'd have loved to see them.

Momo - Yes, the hubby deserved to be beaten. I hate getting woken up on the few chances I get to sleep in. Especially since you're trying to recover from that cold. Well hopefully you're feeling a lot better.

Rhonda - Sounds like you had a great weekend. And major score on the stroller. I can't wait to meet up with you again. I still don't have the All-Star game schedule but as soon as I do I'll let you know about LB coffee. I still want to meet all those great gals.

Okay sorry so short, but I got a late start this morning adjusting to the kids being out of school and just plain being Monday so, I gotta get back to work. Have a great day!!

Wow!  Agreat shout and picture too!!!  My sisters and brothers got all the creativity genes.  I did not get any.  LOL
Saturday was spent cleaning and Sunday I walked the Walk United 5K at Angel Stadium.  It felt great.  I was going to do another round; however, my left hip had other plans.  The remainder of Sunday was a "do nothing" day.  This morning I had a cervical epidural because of problems with my neck and shoulders.  Next time is the lumbar epidural.  I plan to start some serious core training once Naomi's trainer returns from Russia.  I am in desparate need of some strength training so that I have a good strong core.  Other than this all is well.  Back to the rest of the fiscal year end stuff at work tomorrow.

Yes, I've been away again camping...if you can call a gorgeous 5th wheel trailor 'campiing' LOL  Had to squeeze in 1 more weekend...it'll be a month before we can get back up. This coming weekend we'll be getting ready to leave for Maui, the following weekend we'll be returning from Maui (did I tell you all I'm going to MAUI???  ) and the weekend after that I'll be going to East Bay for their support group meeting at Chevy's (and meeting up with Barb and Ron again!).  It's gonna be tuff...but meeting up with Barb and Ron should make it all worth while! Even if I get to use the 'excuse' I'm going over to WORK in Maui!  So, see Janine...you 'should' feel some sympathy...I mean it's WORK 

Your little Lady is just awesome!  Is it 3D?? It looks like you used other medium than just paint...like her pearl necklace and the rope effect on her top...my turn for a 411..WHAT ARE you going to call her???

I absolutely love your shoutouts, Janine...you make it so easy to keep up with everyone's doings, troubles, good days...bad days...I take my computer with me but just never seem to find the time to get it set up. Sure nice to come back here on Monday and you bring me up to date in a flash

Lunch time is over...guess I'd better get back to organizing our convention stuff.  Our trade show is going to be 'small' this year..only 14 exhibitors/vendors and around 120 people...we normally have 44-45 vendors and over 250-300 attendees...at least I won't have to work that hard LOL
