Good Tuesday Morning

Happy Tuesday to all you peeps out here in Oh'Land!!! Three more days until the weekend!

Thank you all who made comments on the that painting and came up with names. I decided to call her Bernadette as Darrell of Steve and D said she really looks like Bernadette Peters and the more I looked at her, the more I realized she did. So that is offically her name....Bernadette!

I was pleased to read that everyone has a good weekend sprinkled with responsibility of course...but overall a good one!!! And just think that is only 3 more days now until the weekend!!! Tomorrow is our WWW so don't forget!!! Those numbers are racking up for sure!

You know I was thinking (scary thing sometimes) that we all get so hung up sometimes in our own stuff which is natural, and sometimes we forget about what is going on with others in their lives. Sometimes it is hard to keep up with everyone as there are so many of us posters here. It is cool sometimes if you would take the time to maybe send an email to some who would be more than open to hearing some extra words of support. You would be surprised at the doors it opens in terms of what you get back from that person. The warmth, the friendliness, the openness...sometimes more than you expect. I am telling you from experience, I am always blown away. People are so grateful for the little umph, by just a few extra words of encouragement.

I have had my ups and downs in the 7 years I have been around OH, but the ups have far out-weighed the downs. You never know who is going to become a dear friend in your life....there is so much to reap verses the downside of communicating in this fashion.

I know I get in my wistful moods sometimes, but I have to say it is justified because I am always reminded that when I am not feeling good or something good is going on in my life...there are so many of you who come to my rescue when it is bad and quick to praise when it is good....and with the risk of wearing my fingers out.....I just want you all to know that your kindness is not misplaced!!!!

I hope you all have a great day!!! I know I will be sharing mine with my Miss Ava so it will be a great day regardless of anyting else that is going on!!!

Aww Neen - what beautiful words as aways and you are so right...I am one of those that doesn't post as much as I used to but I never ever forget who my real supporters are and that is all of you here.  Life gets busy but I never forget where I came from (sometimes I wish I could.)  This is truly the best  place in the world for support because we all understand what we are going through.

I loved Bernadette - and yep - talented for sure - thats you.

I am "working" today (and Friday) watching my little angel.  So I have already packed up the special "Aunt Jeannie" treats and just need to go jump in the shower here in a minute to start my day.

THis weekend for me is our Leisure World Flea Market so I will be busy trying to make a little cash on Saturday.  I am going to clear out the storage in the car port and try to sell all of my over stock from when I was doing craft fairs all the time.  Lots of paper crafts and such....also I have some practically new clothes that I hope I can make a little money from.  Wow I have the most awesome winter coat...its kind of a beige suede type material with sheepskin type lining.  I bought it from QVE and when I did it was to small...well low and behold I went right past it and now it is way to big.  It is so warm and cozy and NEVER EVER been worn.  I spent almost $100 on that darn thing so I would love to get maybe 40 or 50 $ for it.  Oh well, we shall see.  Its a 1X and I just swim in the silly thing.  Other than that not alot planned..oh I am going to go watch Daves team play baseball Sunday evening (and Maybe tonight if its not to freezing since that ball field gets so cold even when its hot outside)

Anyway, I guess its time for me to get busy here.

Morning Janine and Cali!  I LOVE Bernadette . . .really appropriate .. . fits just right.

I finally got a total night sleep . . . didn't realize how much I had been staying awake because of the reflux ...until I could actually sleep!  Now I want my throat to start feeling better . . . that's what really made me realize I was having an issue . . .all this shall pass.

Found out I have 3 team members still doing the walk in Seattle!  Yea I won't be doing it by myself at least . . .well myself and 8000 of my closest friends . . . but it makes it more interesting to be there to kinda know some people.  It's kinda scary walking up to a group you don't know and say "hi - I'm here" . . . I did that last year camping with the group from here . . . and  had a blast . . . I went to the Saturday lunches here in San Diego and met good people - back in the day when I didn't have to work all the time . . . and now I'm going with the lapbanders from Montana . . . you never know who you'll met and be friends with forever!

I know I have been the recipient of many encouraging words and it never fail to amaze me how caring and kind everyone is on this board. I may never meet a lot of you, but I think of all of you everyday. This forum has given me many new friends and people I hope to share my life with, I can't begin to share my happiness for all you have given to me. Thank you, friends, from me to you. I hope one day I will be able to return the favor.

Great picture Michelle!!  Glad to finally see your smiling face. I need to get a hold of Becky for the pic she took of me.  I have to figure out how to put it on here.  Maybe I will have her do it for me.

I would love to get together sometime but it is hard for me right now without a car.  Hopefully, I will get one soon but I am not holding my breath.
