Race for the Cure

Hello, I am really excited because my kids and  I signed up for the Race for the Cure 5k in Newport Beach this September.  My mom passed away from breast cancer 5 years ago this September and we are doing the walk for her, for me, for my sister, daughter, aunts, cousins,  and for all of the peeps out there that might one day face this evil disease.  But now I have to train!!  I am going to walk it this year. Being 6 weeks out I am finding I have so much energy and looking forward to exercising.  Maybe my next 5k....I will run.  So if any of you want to join me PM me for more info....my kids and I started a team.  Or if you just want to support me either with a donation or with words of encourgement feel free to PM me again. 

Best of luck to you. . . you will be in FINE shape by Sept to do this walk!  I'd do it with you, but I'm doing the 3Day in September . . . however . . . I am taking pictures of people who have had this horrible disease to laminate and put on my hat . . . I'd be honored to add your mom's picture if you want to send it to me!
