Good Thursday Morning Cali!

Okay second time now....Good Morning Cali....and I am not a happy good morning this morning either. If I do not make the post either....Mizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Rhonda is going to be after me to do my "job"!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!  

Reason why I am grumbly....well I am doing my shout out...buzzing right along and this stupid friggin computer just with no warning goes into update mode and shut me down making me lose the shout out!!!!

I am so not doing it again because you all know how long it takes to do....so I am bidding you all a wonderful day.....hats off to everyone who made the WWW and did a fine job.....that includes being honest!!! Chris will be posting the totals!

I hope your day turns out better than it started, Janine. I appreciate the time you put into your shoutouts and I know first hand how frustrating it can be to have done something that has taken forever to do and you put your whole heart and soul into writing and WHAM-O!!! Its gone. Makes you want to smack some sense into your computer. Your shoutouts are awsome. You just have a way of making people feel special. You are such a caring and loving person. I love the way you empithize with every situation. That is a gift, you are a gift. Thank you for taking the time to do such a special task. You are a beautiful person with a beautiful heart and soul.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day. I know the people regularly look beyond what is in front of them for the beauty that is hidden. Try doing it more today, look for the hidden tresures of life. You may be surprised by what you see.

Morning Janine and Cali . . . You poor lady!  I'd like to slap your computer FOR you!  What a PITA . . . and we know the work involved . . . ty for your time and efforts!

We had another great week . . . we are down 38.4 lbs!  Whoot!  But what is even MORE amazing is that MAYBE we need to change our goal - UPWARD!  At this point we are 1,525.4 down for the year!  We could maybe reach for 2,500 for the year I think . . .IF everyone who is out there actually posts (lol) .  . whatca think?  Way to go Cali!

Good news on this end . . . my son has FINALLY received his tentative job offer for Monterey . . . they are mailing his the paperwork for his physical (again) . . . and when he gets that done, they overnight it back and then they get the real job offer . . . OMG there were some happy people here yesterday!  It's both my babies birthday's today . . . what a present!  (They are 29 and 27 today) . . . seems the lady has been trying to reach him since last Thursday . . . said his phone sounded like a fax machine . . . WTF?  It's a cell phone and no one else has had problems . . . ughhhh

So . . . that is good stuff . . . going on a training walk with San Diego walkers tonight . . . they are shorter walks than what I need at this point . . . but it gets me out there moving.  The San Diego walk isn't until November, so their schedule is just starting out - almost 10 weeks after my walk.

Good Morning Janine, and all of calif........

Janine, as the one that started the shout outs, trust me, I know how long they take, and much work they are. I know the feeling of wanting to KILL the computer. LOL

Well, yesterday we where told that because the lack of blood one of DD's kidney's is starting to shut down. They where talking about putting a shint (?) in to hold up the desection and open things up so the blood can get into that area. But that is all we know. They have not said what they are going to do, just talking about this and that. UGH!!! DD's other kidney is doing fine and her lab work looks good.

Today is back to work for me. Its my short day (8hours) but I have already agreed to work 4 hours over time, but might cancel that depending on how DD is doing. I might just do my 8 and head home.  Time will tell.

I wish you all a great day. Keep it real, smile, even if you want to slap the snot out of someone. LOL

Good Morning Janine and the Cali gang!!

I am so sorry about your shout out Janine.  I know how much time and effort you put into that.  You work really hard to make everyone feel special and it is greatly appreciated. 

I woke up this morning with such a stiff neck and back.  I think I slept wrong on it.  It is killing me.  I had a very hard time walking to work this morning.  It was one of those days where I had to just look down and concentrate on putting one foot in front of the other and just get to work.  It took me 15 minutes to get here when I can usually do it in under 10.  The pain in my neck is slowly working its way into my head too.  I guess I am going to have to take something but the only thing here at work is some motrin.  I will just take 2 and see if it helps. 

Nothing planned today.  Just work and then go home and rest because I am in mucho pain right now.  It sucks getting older...lol.

Good morning Janine and crew.  You poor thing...I am gonna come and slap that computer silly.  But as the others said - we all so love your am shout outs and definitely appreciate all the work that goes into them.  But don't fret - we forgive you....we don't, however, forgive the computer.

Not much going on for mne today - just gonna load up my car with all of my excess craft supply to get ready for the flea market on Sat.  Gonna try to sell off whats left over from the craft fair days.

I did just post a picture of my new tattoo - which I LOVE.  I was gonna post a picture of my other new addition (got my belly button pierced) but it didn't turn out very good.  I have one more tattoo I am planning and it will be a tribute to my mom and dad.  Its going to be an anchor (my dad was in the coast guard) with a ribbon saying in loving memory..then there will be a co uple of birds by it as my mom LOVED birds.  This one I am putting on my shoulder/back area.  But alas that has to wait until I have a little more cash.  Let me just say its true what they say about tattoos...you can't have just one.  I go to a great place in Sunset Beach and the gal is so good.....

Anyway...time to go read the paper and finish my protein drink then throw on some clothes and start getting things organized for Saturday.

So sorry to hear about your shout-out Janine, dang computers anyway!  I so appreciate your efforts though.

Well, I have a day and a half left of wor****il vacation.... YIPPEE!

Yesterday I had my last safety meeting at the District and my union leadership all gave me a beautiful hydreanga plant and a card that made me cry.  It's sure nice when the unions appreciate the work you do for them.  As I have often told them, I may not give them the answer you want to hear but I will always be honest and informative.  Nice to be appreciated.

So off to work I go.  I hope everyone has a great day.  I play music tonight (ahhh) and then back for 1/2 day of work tomorrow and then ALOHA!

Good morning Janine and Cali,

Computers-can't live with them or without them!  I totally know where you are coming from.  Today it is drizzly and overcast, wanted to prune some of my roses but not sure now.  My friend wants to come over and see how I am doing, I am going to make dinner for them all, it will be the first time since surgery I cooked a big dinner.  DH and Vanessa have been eating light. 

Nothing much else going on.  Hope everyone enjoys their day.
