Wow Moment

Greetings Cali Friends....

Ok, just had to share my wow moments for today.....

Visited my PCP today to go over my recent labs..... I get to stop the last diabetes med and my red blood cells and iron are coming right along where he wants them.  All labs came back normal.

Then went to get some jeans.... I fit in to a size 16!  From a 28 in January to a 16 today.  Whoo hoo!

I also bought Large tops instead of the XXL!

I love my RNY and I am rocking this tool.  Pics to come from Hawaii so you can see!  LOL

Thanks so much Jullie!  Did I mention I love Templeton.  My hubby grew up in San Luis Obispo and when we come down we visit a few of his buddies who live near Paso and Creston and we ALWAYS go to AJ Spurs, so much fun.  I've been out to the Loading Shoot in Creston and to a place we went to way the heck out there to listen to music a few summers back.  Saw Elvin Bishop and someone else.  Wow showing my age now LOL!

You went to the Pozo Saloon!  Outdoor stage, piece of crap bar with dollar bills on the ceiling?  That's the Pozo Saloon.  AJ Spurs serves more food than shouldbe allowed, even though they have cut wayyyy back on the portions since the times have gotten tough.  Ever been to McPhee's in Templeton?  Another to die for place.  The Kobe burgers are out of this world.  The meat melts in your mouth!

I was born and raised in Paso Robles, as were my parents and my grandparents so we go back a ways in this area.  I think I am probably the last generation where everyone knows everyone.  The transplants from outer areas started coming into the area in the 80's or so.  Now we are a BIG yuppie destination with all of our wine, etc. and Hearst Castle.

Hey Jilliecats!

You know I lived in the SLO county for close to 30 yrs.  Templeton for 10 yrs.  I think Pozo Saloon is my favorite of all the places you mention.

AJ's was good ate there many times over the years, and my daughter in law was a waitress at McPhee's in Templeon for a few years.   Nephew was a manager at McClintocks in Pismo Beach.

I got burned out at all three places.  But now you know that the Pozo Saloon is a cowboy saloon with the best food and some outrageous bands performing. Wop Wop!

You enjoy those Kobe burgers for me.  I can't eat beef yet but I used to love their steaks.
Someday Someday again.

Take care of the North County for me and my husband.  His parents and sisters both live in Paso Robles.

Wow Barb!!!!   Getting Healty and loosing weight!!!!!   Ya Hoo to you!!!!!

So excited that weight is moving off finally...  I guess sometimes there are some

times we will get stuck and then off it comes.   So happy about your being able to come

off any kind of meds.  Wow! Go Girl!

We're all in this fantastic journey together and I'm loving it.  New friends, new bod, new discovered health.  Are we lucky or what?  I thank the good Lord everyday for giving me the courage and wisdom to have my WLS.
