Wonderful Sunday Mornin' Gang!

Morning all . . . hope I'm not typing over Janine . . . but maybe she is getting to sleep in . . . I was going to, but daughter has to go to work at 6 and I just can't sleep through people being up in the morning - night time is another story .  . I never hear them lol

Hope the birthday bash is going great . . . and the craft sales were fabulous . . . and the lunch was the best ever . . . and hope the Hawaii people are getting packed and ready to roll, and hope people are feeling better and life in general is good.  That's my shout out and I'm sticking to it.

Since my unfill, I've managed to put on 4 lbs . . . urghhh . . .not liking that part . . . maybe more consistent walking will help right away . . . and I guess I really better watch what I'm munching on . . . then there is the dermitis (sp) issue with my toes (I know . . .TMI) every time I put socks on for my walking . . . ughhhh again . . . so far no more cracking and bleeding . . . and I'm using the moisture wicking socks too .. . maybe they are the problem . . .

Heading to breakfast with a friend . . .and then to the fair - a definite change of pace!  Haven't been for several years.

Good morning Chris and the Cali Gang!  I worked 16.5 hours yesterday due to the emergency from the lightning storm.  Extra play $$$!!! (actually it's a water heater and a new bed!)

Got off work yesterday and went shopping for the bbq today, made my tater salad and hit the rack by midnight.  Today promises excellent weather.  I'm going to hit the showers, wake up the old man and hit the road!

Hope everyone has an excellent day!  Take your vitamins, drink your water and stay away from lame cheezy jokes!  There were a ton of them flying at work yesterday.

What do you call a fish with ten eyes?.................................. F i i i i i i i i i i s h.    Told you it was eye roller!

Good Morning Chris!

Tell me about the fair!  I love fairs.  Sonds like fun.  Well yesterday we went to the picnic and it was a grand time for all.  Since this is a special picnic for Foster Parents they provided each f the children with an aid so I got to run around and talk to old friends and good friends and just enjoy the day.  It was nice.  Picked up my mom at my sisters house and she looks horrilbe. She is not getting outside so she is very pale, she is not walking or doing any of her exersizes so she can't hardley move around anymore.  It is not a good thing.  But I can't have her back here, but she can come visit    My mother can only be nice for a few days and then she gets to be her old mean self.  We may be in trouble this time though as her visit was for 4 days and yesterday she told me my sister told her not to come back for a week as she is having the carpets cleaned.  OMG But not muchI can do really. In my family my sister is known as the "Captain".  I guess that is why her and I have never gotten along and that I have not spent more than 5 min with her since 1996.  Well enough about my crazy family.  Today I don't know what I am gong to do.  I have a few errands to run.  But other than that nothing too exiting.  Chris tell me more about the fair though. Have a super day all.

Well, I wrote this 'wonderful' epic story about my day...and then posted it to the wrong greeting!!  Oh please don't make this any indication of what the rest of my day is going to be like!!!  Anyway, IF you're interested (snicker snicker) you can read YESTERDAYs shout out by Janine to see what I'm up to

Hope everyone else has a much better 'start' to their day than I am....hmmmm, sure hope this 'decaf' coffee is REALLY 'decaf'!!  It sure doesn't taste like decaf....guess we'll know for sure in about an hour...I'll be bouncing off the walls if it isn't!  I haven't had 'caffeine' since last October!

Good morning everyone.

We're back from vacation and getting settled in.  I managed to lose 15 lbs while on the road clocking in at 164.  woohooo!

We're going to continue walking daily now that we're home.  We walked to the grocery store yesterday and carried food back in our packs.

Thanks.  We've all changed SO much!  I'm so happy with how things are going and I can see by your avatar, so are you!   Yep, hubby's thrilled and acting it. LOL

I went shopping again.  The Christmas shopping clothing spree has been taken in and with Gottschalks going under, I tried on mediums and bought smalls for later. I did have a wow moment...I'm sure it was mismarked but I bought a size 8 top!  I love shopping now.

Good Sunday Chris and the Cali Gang!

Those toes sound really painful. I have had issues with dermitis (of some sort or another, in one place or another) since RNY or 6 months out from it in 2006. They thought it might be Celiac so that skin rash stuff that moves around bothers me like crazy! We have Celiac in our family so it's a real issue.

We went to the fair grounds last night Thunder on the Lot to hear Eric Burdon but had a much better time listening to Peace Frog and their tribute to Jim Morrison and the Doors. The weather was clear but the wind came up and I nearly froze to death...Shivered like crazy! After freezing last night, we were worn out and did next to nothing all day. Laundry and making curtains and cleaning house is next to nothing for us.
