Orange Coast Memorial told me about this site. I'm trying to get approved for the lap band right now. They already refused me 2 months ago for the surgery because my BMI is only 38.8. I went through the appeal process a month ago only to be refused again! Now I'm in the process of filing for an independent medical review. I was just wondering hes anyone else been through this process, and what was the outcome? Thanks!

I am sorry I have not been throught that.. But I just wanted to wish you luck, and hope there is someone who is able to help.. If you don't get much luck here on the CA board, I would try the main forum.. Many more people on that board, but I LOVE my CA family..
