Good morning Janine and Cali,

I am in Reno, the weather has been very unpredictable.  Yesterday we rode out to Virginia City, had a blast.  Rode the old steam locomotive and saw a really bad gun fight show.  But Vanessa loved it, I walked up several hills and thought I would die.  Today is officially two weeks since surgery.  I guess I am doing OK.  Had some broth and very tender beef from a stew last night, I thought I was in heaven.  Nothing has seemed to upset my pouch as of yet except for very cold water (it kind of hurts).

It sounds like most of you all had a nice weekend. With the exception of the sick and wounded.

Had my sons High School Graduation Friday night.. yeah! 2 Down and one to go now.. Then it was just more cleaning to get ready for the Graduation Celebration this Saturday.. Still plenty to do to get ready..

Happy Monday All!!

What a great weekend!! Had an adults only nightout on Saturday headed down to Costa Mesa for Speedway. Old family ties so, it was nice to see some old friends and enjoy a great night of motorcycle racing. Yesterday was church and my son's baseball team party. They won the championship game so they received their trophies. Garrett also got a plaque that holds his home run ball engraved with his name and date of his "out of the park" homerun. He was pretty excited and I, very proud. Tomorrow night is his 1st All-Star tournament game 8:00 p.m. in Victorville so, I am sure I'll be paying dearly for it on Wednesday. What are they thinking???

Momo - "HAPP BIRTHDAY!" Hope you Dh has something special planned for you. Although I'm thinking a beautiful day at the lake in a bikini is a great way to celebrate!!! You go girl!!! Rock that bikini!!!

Janine - Hope your hubby is feeling better. I have been so lucky this year not to catch any real colds since surgery. But my family has been hit with the bug big time this year. I have heard it's still going around.

Rhonda - Sure hope you're mom is doing okay this morning. How scary for you!! I hate those slo mo episodes. With 3 boys I have them all the time. I'm so fortunate to not have more ER trips under my belt. I would love to see new pics of the haircut. I have an appointment tonight and have given her full reign so I have no idea what I'll look like tomorrow.

Barb - Hawaii sounds amazing. Hope you and DH are enjoying your vacation!! Can't wait to see pics.

Chris - I hear ya. I am no fan of walking or running. I give you credit!!! A couple years ago I tried the couch to marathon training and never got into it. I actually hated every minute. I much prefer my dance and step aerobics videos.

Jean - How did the craft sale go?? Sure hope you got rid of all that stuff and made some $$$$.

Oh Heather and I am not going to be home on Wednesday!  If  I would have known a few hours ago  I could have came and met you and we could of had a starbucks and watched the game.  Maybe next time.  If I am back early enough though maybe I can give you a call or you can call me.  I think I gave you my cell number right?  Let me know if not I will pm it to you no worries.  Seany still wants a play date he keeps reminding me of it.  So lets hook something up soon.

how are you doing? good i hope. im here in tennessee still and making the best of it here. i miss california so much but what can i do now im here.. im working at least and that is a good thing and on july 1st i move into my own place and let me tell you i cant wait. my brother and his girlfriend was going to throw me out into the streets right when we got here but i got a job . go figure that family could be so cruel .but im counting the days to when i can get out of the house . i have gained weight but i think its because of the stress and all that is going on in my life ,i need to get back on track and i will when i get into my own place ya know.

Chris, I can hardly wait to have my surgery and see someone I haven't seen in a while. That must have felt really good.

Rhonda, Thank you for this morning! I love the new  haircut! It is soo cute. I so fall in love with your kids everytime  I see them! I had a nice time on our walk. I am glad we are able to exercise in the morning. Oh, and stop pushing your mom over, Lol! I'm just kidding!

Dawn, I know exactly how you feel, when you say growing old SUCKS.  Honestly I think they are intentionally making the printing smaller in books and magazines, Lol!

I hope everyone has a wonderful day. My weekend was uneventful. I spent the weekend with my mom in San Dimas. Went to my sister's college graduation, it was nice. I also went to a Luau Festival @ San Dimas Cnyn Park. I had a great time. Its good to be back home again.

The weekend..We went fishing with a friend, filleted 34 fish, now back to real life. We came back to the car not starting so I'm calling AAA today to come jump it. More unpacking to do.  It's all worth it.  I've got to cull through photos yet but we saw a lot of wildlife.
