Dr. Feng?

I'm very excited to have a date scheduled for my vertical sleeve gastrectomy with Dr. Feng. Has anyone had experience with this doctor and procedure? I'm about 90% thrilled with about 10% anxiety (guessing that's normal). Has anyone had more than one day in the hospital with this surgery? Any comments/ suggestions appreciated.

There are tons of us sleevesters on the VSG forum here including some of Dr. Feng's patients.

I looked at Dr. Feng, but ultimately went with LapSF. Anyway, I love my sleeve!

Thanks for the info, and REALLY appreciate your Blog. I had the same insurance issues, waiting for open enrollment, eventually finding out WLS isn't covered anyway. After reading a lot of the OH forums, my excitement:anxiety ratio was beginning to shift (there seem to be more complications than research data would suggest and if there are complications and I'm a self pay, do I also pay for complications?). Thank you for your open, honest communication about your journey.

I didn't have Dr. Feng as a Dr. but was able to meet with him and talk to him.. He is a great person and Dr.  I just want to wish you lots of luck, and yes, a little anxiety is TOTALLY NORMAL..
