Help! Dentures and Weight Loss

I have been given some conflicting information. I want to know if you have dentures before your surgery, will they still fit when you lose weight? Some people tell me yes, some people tell me no. Is there anyone that has personal experience that they care to share? I would greatly appreciate any help. Thank you.

Mine became extremely lose, but that's why they have relignments.

Thank you Darlene. I wasn't sure what they do to relign. I just got mine a week ago.

I have partials . . . and no longer wear them . . . they are way loose .  . but since it's side teeth . . .I don't care . . . I'm not forking out the money again at this point!
