Contra Costa Support Squad innagural meeting!!!!! 6/20/09

Hi everyone,

It is time to officially launch the Squad!!  Save the date - Saturday, June 20th - at the Starbucks at Slatten Ranch (5779 Lone Tree Way).  Please note the 10am start time.  If it is warm enough, we can sit outside - otherwise I make sure to get there a bit early to stake out a table/tables.

Come on out and join us - as this will be the first official Support Squad meeting!!  We will have a more private location for future meetings, no worries.  I want to use this more relaxed setting once more to finalize the plan for how the future meetings will be run and to get your great ideas for speakers/presentations.

Please, if you can, post here (or PM me) to let me know if you expect to come out.  It will let me know how many chairs to try and commandeer - lol.

Hi Cathy.  Saturday is the 20th. And I would like to come but I just have too much goin on right now with my RnY on Monday.  Put me ln the list for the Squad though... I know I am going to need a ton of support in the coming weeks and months.. and would like to pay it forward as well. Thanks... and I will add you to my friends list!

First of all - congratulations and best wishes for your upcoming surgery   Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help with your recovery.

I am bummed that you won't be able to make this month's meeting -but have invited you to become a member of the group so you'll receive PM reminders for all the future meetings & special events.

I am going to try and make it out there for the coffee in the morning. It will all depend if I can get my butt out of bed early enough. Please put me on the list for the squad. If I don't make it tomorrow, I will certainly be there at the next one. I hope you had a good week.
