O. T. about my sister

Good Afternoon All….

 

I thought I would let you all how things are going. I can tell you that life has been stressful. You all know DD was in the hospital for a little bit but it seem that this hospital/doctor just wont do anything for her and is now going to send her to Loma Linda Which is a good thing, no a great thing. We tried to get her a doctor there before but that didn't work out for us. Per the Dr. her lungs are bad for them to do anything, but she NEEDS/ MUST HAVE both dissections fix. Until then, she much keep her blood pressure under control or thing will NOT be good. No telling how long this is going to take, but I sure hope its not to long, because the thought of waking up to find my sister not breathing is not a happy thought, If you know what I mean. From what I understand, the dissections is like a weak spot in the vain and DD’s vain has a spilt in it where the blood is trapped and slowed down, and is also keeping blood from getting to her kidney which is now in danger of big time trouble. Not enough blood flow has damaged her kidney and that has started. Oh joy! Something new to worry about, Great!! They keep making it seem like its just a matter of time. SHI@

 

Thankful my friend Liz has been keeping me calm and helping me to NOT freak out. Which with other crap going on in my life, is always right there. Lizz has been a great help. Love ya girl. You always know how to keep it really and tell me what I need to do to keep my self sane. LOL

 

OK I need to keep moving, I am waiting for a friend to come over and help me wash DD’s hair. (I am going to watch)

Lu, I hope the docs at Loma Linda can help DD. Loma Linda is a great hospital, especially for cardiac patients. I will keep you both in my prayers. I am glad that Liz has been a huge comfort for you at this time. Sending love and big hugs to you both. XOXOXO

That does sound like some good news.  I hear Loma LInda is the like the best.  I am so glad that Lizz is there for you.  She seems like an awesome gal.  She know like everything medical too and can explain it in english and not dr. talk.  I know everyone wants to tell you not to worry, but I understand that as I go through that with my mom all the time, her heart valve is giving out, but she is still hanging in there at 76, *****y as all get up and lazy but still hanging in there.  When are they going to do the surgery on her do you have any idea as of yet?   Are you taking care of you?  I hope so.  You are in my thoughts and prayers as always.  Nyla Grace sends big kisses and hugs to you.  She is getting cuter.  Tell DD that Lexie says hi and to get better fast she wants her to come over and watch sponge Bob soon.

Loma Linda is a great hospital.  My inlaws go there and are very happy with the care there.  I'll think good thoughts for you and your family until this crisis passes.

Lu, I'm so sorry to read this about DD. I know you must be in so much mental anquish yourself over this entire situation.

As for Loma Linda, that is the best thing that can happen to her.  I'm currently being treated there and it is a first class institution.  I can't speak highly enough of the doctors and nurses there.  She will be in good hands once the transfer to LL goes through.  You can be assured of that.

If you need anything, please know you can call Mike and I at any time.  We may not see you much anymore, but you are still dear to our hearts and we would be there for you in an instant.

Ahhh thank you so very much for coming out and showing me your support. Right now, life is steady. We are just waiting to hear when we should run to Loma Linda. I know they are good. One of the best around and yap this is a much better place for her. I truly think the doctors at RCH are scared of her and how bad off she is.

But WE need to find some time to hung out and spend time picking on Mike......LOL. or hit vages

Ooooo Vegas GF.  You and I definately need a girls only weekend in Vegas.  It's been way too long since we've gone off and been bad.  So before I become too old to remember how to be bad, I need you to remind me.  Please!!!  LOL

Lu, like everyone else has said, Loma Linda is one of the best there is so this is a blessing.  I am also very thankful that Ms. Liz is in your life.  She is truly a gift to all of us.  Just wanted you to know that we are thinking of you and Gary's high school prayer club has your sister on their prayer chain.  They call her "Gary's mom's friend's sister!"  What is her first name so it can be shortened a bit?  Hugs to you and her both.
