Good Friday Morning

Happy Friday Everyone!!!! Are you all excited it is the weekend? I know for some of you it is not your weekend yet....but hang in there!!!

I feel almost out of the loop here...how weird is that? I started the header on this post...saying...Thursday. As much as I like being off....I really do not like losing track of time either...okay DAYS!!!

For all you who have not read Ms. Shells post...I strongly urge you to read this because Shells has sent a very powerful message to all of us here and I thank you for it Shells.

A lot of the time after wls, we still lose sight of why we had the surgery...that ugly word called "complacent".....well Shells story is powerful and will make you rethink again when you want to travel down that slippery slope.

Please keep LuLu and her sister DD in your prayers as they are really in need of our super duper Cali lovin and even though Lu does not get here as much as she use to...they need prayers!

A lot of people here need our support. I know that it is hard read everyones daily doings and reading alone is a long process when you have had a long hard day or you are up early in the morning before going to work, but if you just maybe post to one person....it surely makes all the difference in that persons world sometimes.

I wish I had it in me to do a shout out this morning, but I do not....just know that you are all important and the daily activity of what goes on here when you post and share your lives touches someone out there...so thank you all who continue to keep this morning post alive!

With that said...stop reading and start posting...what the heck are you all doing this weekend?

Another day another $$. I wish I could say I dont know what day it is, I would love to be lost for a little while. I have no weekend, I am workin the whole thing. It will be 9 days straight before I get a day off, but the OT money will be good.
LuLu & DD are most definately in my thoughts. I dont know how she does it. I would have broken down long ago.
Oh well I am up, mostly ready, but far from awake. So I am going to start an IV for the coffee, lol. Hope everyone has a good day!! Be good to yourselves and those around you!!!

I did a heck of a training walk last night . ..  omg this woman (Boob Camp Bekki) is kicking our butts!  If any of you know Jackson Drive and Golfcrest . . . you KNOw THE HILLS!  BUT . . . I did it!  Wahoo

Tonight after work I have to drive my daughter to Temecula to meet up with her friend from Palm Springs . . .and they are off on their road trip to South Dakota . . . she so needs a break . . . and then I get to work the weekend.  Actually, starting next week they are putting me on the later shifts so I can go out walking early in the mornings before work :D  For those that think once you start this - you never want to quit . . . WRONG . . . I have to force myself out there . . . but I'm committed (and some people think I should be committed and have the little men in white jackets come get me) .  . anyway . . .

Good Morning!! Yup, its Friday, Janine!! Don't have plans for this weekend, but whatever I do, I will make it an awsome day.

After my scare yesterday, and then being relieved that everything is ok, I have a renewed sense of self. I loved reading Shells post. It gave me the push I needed to continue this journey, I will have the surgery, I will lose this weight, and I will be successful at it. This is about me, and I have to do this for me. Others give me the motivation and encouragement and support to take one day at a time.

On that note, again I want to thank everybody that took the time out to send me a msg, or just kept me in their thoughts or prayers yesterday. I really appreciated it. You are all a wonderful group of people. I want to give you all a huge hug.

I hope you all have a nice weekend. Be safe. Enjoy your friends and family.

Finally  it's friday. I've been waiting all week for today. I couldn't SLEEP last night for all the stuff I wanna do. I think I need to take another sick day {cough, cough} to get the yard work done but if I come in the next day with a sunburn...i'm busted. LOL.

I am so happy it is Friday!  Busy weekend planned for sure.  My prayers are with LUU and DD, I know they are going to take good care of DD over there at Loma Linda.  Chris you keep walking, you are doing an amazing job at that.  I so wish I could do the 3 day, but I am not a fund raiser type of a gal.  Wish I was.  Well today it is off to the gym wih the girls then back home for a meeting then hiking.  I can't wait.   just love my hikes.  Michelle, you and I are on our own today as the little one just cancelled she is just too tired to come.  I will tell you more later.  Becky good talking to you last night!  keep me posted on your surgery stuff and what you decide.  Well I gotta go as I only have like 10 min to get myself dressed  and on the road.  I will post later.  Everyone have a wonderful day today and be nice to yourself.

Yes you are right I am a big fat brat.  No that is a lie, I am a big skinny brat!  lol.  No worries, I have been so busy running around, working out, mothers here, social workers, trips here there and everywhere.  I did not have a life for years and now I think I am making up for lost time.  So don't worry we shall plan something fun and special soon.  Work out was great, had a great time with the girls over there at Curves they are a hoot.  We all push eachother and tell jokes and it is pure silliness, I just love it.  You have a great weekend too.  I miss you and will see you soon at your Mama's or here or where ever you decide to land.

Good Morning Janine and the Cali Gang!!

I totally agree with you about Ms. Shells post Janine.  I think it is important for everyone to read but especially those of us that are farther out.  It seems the further we get out, the more we forget why we did this.

I had such a bad night last night.  My 2 oldest daughters (23 and 19)  we fighting so bad and would not stop.  It stressed me out so bad that I had a hard time sleeping.  My stomach is killing me this morning.  I know it is my ulcers because everytime I get stressed, they act up.  I am sitting both of those girls down this afternoon and laying down the law.  Either they stop or leave.  I don't need the stress.  Neither are working and I can't take it anymore. 

Nothing planned for me this weekend.  Going to do some cleaning , laundry and try to get some exercise in for me.  Maybe some walking in the early evening when it is cooler because it is getting hot here in the desert.
