Good Morning Chris and all the Cali Group!

Looks like everyone is sleeping in this morning..We are too. I'm letting dh take an early morning nap. He got up as usual to make coffee but he's napping now before church..I'll take him out to breakfast and come home so he can watch the Nascar race and I can do yardwork, if the weather cooperates. It didn't yesterday but that's okay.

We dont' expect to see our teenage son till late today so we have the whole day to ourselves..What fun!

Happy Father's Day to everyone, even the ones who celebrate without the benefit of actual dads...Mine is out of town, which is normal. Can't nail that man down for anything!

Happy Father's day!  Today is church and then I am going to take DH to breakfast.  His family is coming over this afternoon for a BB QUE.  I still have lots to do, but I don't mind cooking.  I hope there are leftovers since I will be flying out on Tuesday.  DH does not cook much, looks like TV dinners for him  and Vanessa.

Good Morning Chris and Cali guys and gals!  My house is super noisy this morning with kids screaming and all.  They are being bad little children this morning.  NO MUSH FOR YOU!  lol  Well yes they are going to get mush, well not really, probably some over priced captian or lucky or Monster something cereal.  I am letting my husband sleep in this morning as that was one of his few requests.  It was hard to make the coffee on my own this morning, I had to push that little button on the coffee maker all by myself, then pour the finished coffee into a pot that keeps the coffee steaming hot for hours and hours.  My goodness I had to actually do some things for myself this morning!  lol  My goodness am I appriciting the father of my children this morning.  I don't know what we are going to do today.  I was thinking of ATV riding in the desert, Hiking in the mountains or chinese food and bowling.  I want to do something out of the box today, what I do not know but not somehting we do all the time at all.  Any ideas of something cheap and different?  I would be interested in hearing all about them.  Well that is it for now, maybe I will have more for later.

Hi all..Please wish me prayers and God-Speed today please as I leave on my journey to Idaho.  My plans are to travel (drive with friend) to Provo, staying the night (will arrive there around 10 tonight), then on to Twin Falls, Idaho early tomorrow morning.  If all goes well, I'll return home late Wednesday evening.  I have to do some business pertaining to my late mom's estate and transport some furniture back...or beleive me..I'd FLY!  Sooooo..I've packed my ditty bag and included plenty of Xanax, as I do not do well on freeways or long drives.  Call it phobias, call it scardy pants..but be cautious when I am driving..lol  I am OK during long desolate stretches...or bumper to bumper, but speeding traffic..nope, nope, nope, I'm gonna be a spaz..lol

That is a drive that is near and dear to my heart. I swear I can drive it in my sleep. Once I get out of California driving the 15 is no problem..Around Vegas and through Salt Lake can get alittle dicey but if you stop and have a snack it doesn't seem too bad.

DH and I are road warriors and drive 33 hours straight through to Chicago, no prob but I can recommend just take it slow and don't fight over the road and you'll be fine. Trucks are your friend...just let them set your speed. Have a good time.

Not too much planned for today. Its my furry kid's 10th birthday. So looks like a trip to the park and PetCo, lol! My DH is off today, so its a lot easier to go places.

Whatever you do I hope you have fun. Be careful. Be safe. And remember to wear sunscreen.

Good Morning Cali Crew,

I just wanted to let everyone know that I made it to Sacramento!! Wooohooo!! It was such a long drive yesterday but totally worth it! I came up here to visit my brother, he lives in Folsom. But the sad thing is, I drove almost 350 miles and still haven't seen my brother. He and his crew went to Hollister yesterday and he is still not back. Oh, well!! I guess, I will just have to entertain myself with the Outlets that are up here near his house. I hope this week is fun! I am so glad that I decided to stay up here for a week! I really like this town, it feels like a second home!
