Thanks Rhonda.  I appreciate it.  It is hard being a single mom of 4 and not what I would have chosen but you just deal with the hand you've been dealt and do the best you can.

Good Morning Calif.......

WOW! I feel like poopoo today. Yesterday I woke up feeling like I wa**** by a mac truck, and after working 16 hours yesterday, I deciede there was no way I could make it to work today, so I canceled my OT. I just crawled out of bed and wished that I has some powerful pian meds. My back is out and my ankle hurt and why I am at I will complain about elbow. The dork that works in my office at work (me) left a draw open and turned and hit it with my elbow. Yap, I am dork!!! Do you think there is a support  group I go to..............Hello my name is Luana and I am DORK!!!

So for today, my friend is coming over and are going to go to the wild life park and walk for a few hours. I think! Last week the range sent out an email to park friends to let us know that the baby snakes are out in force and so darn cute, I would love to go out and see them. (of course this depends on my back)

Morning Michele and Cali gang!  How I have missed all of you!!  I am back at work :-(  While in Maui I could READ the posts but my stupid computer would not let me POST any responses   I kept getting an "error on the page" when I clicked on 'reply' and couldn't get the 'task' bar above to choose size and color, etc...and it wouldn't let the cursor 'land' in the window.

So?? What did I do when I got home? or actually, I should say yesterday after I picked up my precious Trudie (chihuahua) from the vet?  Went out and bought a brand new 13'3 inch screen computer!  Got a fantastic deal (only $500!) on a Toshiba laptop at Fry's Electronics....and hubby bought himself a new Emachine laptop! LOL  For under $400!!  Electronic stores must be HURTING!! to have such fantastic deals.  Now the pain of transferring everything over.  If I'm lucky, I'll be able to get my boss to buy the HP laptop for the office and I can pay for the Toshiba LOL

I have read up on everybody's doings but unlike Janine and Chris and Rhonda and Michele....I just can't remember them when I get to posting :-(  But, I do see that Michele is having that awful gall bladder taken care of today....Karen? had a biopsy and awaiting results? ( you are in my prayers Lady!)...is it Michele T?? that got her appt for her consult??.(Congratulations!)..and Janine has been absent?? (WHERE are you Fair Lady?!) oh, I am so bad with names!  If the name is wrong, FORGIVE me!!  I do keep each and everyone of you in my daily prayers and wish you all a positive outcome. 

While Maui was wonderful and fun...I am happy to be home and back to my daily routine.  Tomorrow I get back to walking my daily walks of 3 miles and walk in spirit with Chris and Rhonda (and Liz is it?).  Have a great day--the sun is shining and God has given us another wonderful day!

Afternoon all, I am going to take Handy Kid to Fresno this afternoon to look at a truck...sure hope this isn't a waste of time and gas. He really needs to find one and this one looks like it might be the one. We went and looked at one yesterday that didn't look so bad but had a spare motor in the bed LOL...I thought they were suppose to have spare tires NOT motors. The owner was a drunkin' tweeker...we had to walk around all the beer cans and booze bottles to look at the truck...So I am sure you can see why that one was out of the question.
So I am out of here.

Good Afternoon Michele and Cali Friends,

We're home from Hawaii, actually arrived this afternoon.  Couldn't post to you from Maui either, like Nancy! 

Speaking of Nancy, it was sure fun meeting up with her and Lon!  We'll post more pics later.

Michele I know you'll be feeling better soon and hope surgery is a breeze.

Hope everyone is doing well, sure did miss you all and will have to catch up on reading the posts and seeing what's new in Cali.

I will be thinking about you Michele and you will be in my prayers for a speedy recovery. Take it easy and if you are not up to it do not go on Saturday. You have to take good care of yourself.

We had our graduation party on Saturday for my son, it was so fun. It was great to see all of our friends and family there, so many special people we have lucky to have in our lives.
 
Unfortunately, yesterday brought some bad and surprising news.. My husband was layed off of work.. hmmm not so great.  Sure hope he has luck finding something in the next few months or weeks.. Lori W
