Prayers and/or Good Thoughts Needed Please

My hubby's Dad was admitted back into the hospital 4 hours after being discharged from the Convelescent Hospital.  He has a raging infection and fluid in his lungs.  My poor mother-in-law is beside herself.  Thank goodness Ron was with her all day for support.

On a happier note,

I shared with you that I will be laid off on June 30th due to budget cuts.  Good news, the job I was hoping for posted and I formally applied.  They called me this morning to schedule an interview.  Next. Tues at 10:00 a.m. 

Please think good thoughts, say prayers or send good juju, we would really appreciate it.

My word gf, your family is certainly being tested :-(  You must be feeling like a ping pong ball.  I am so sorry to hear about Ron's dad and I know poor Isla must be worn out from all the stress and uncertainty.  On the other hand, how wonderful to receive the call for the interview!  Nice timing returning from Hawaii, eh? ;-) 

As usual, my fingers, toes, arms, legs and what ever else I can bend are crossed!  Thinking positive thoughts and sending your way!

Thanks so much for your prayers and positive thoughts.  It's tough to see the folks you love go through so much and poor Bert is just tired of the whole thing I'm sure.  I know he is in good hands now that he is back in the hospital.  His fever shot up from 98 to 104 in an hour and his lungs sounded like a rattle.  I am baffled that the convelescent would have ever discharged him, as I know that infection didn't come on in 4 hrs. 

As for the job interview, I will give it my all and I am feeling confident.  I need to find something to wear! 

See you on Sat. and hope you're feeling better too.  I have that scrathy throat thing going on, the air conditioning in Hawaii and on the planes I'm sure.

Don't know if you were on vacation, when I shared this,, but I am coming up your way at the end of July.  I am going White Water rafting with MOMO!  Can you believe that?  HOw far are you from her?  She is in Redding.  Coming to pick me up at the airport in Sacramento July 30th Thursday.  I will be up there till Monday, maybe we can hook up sometime during the trip?  That would be so cool.  I don't know what day the White Water trip is or any of that, but I can keep you posted and when MOMO comes back next week from vacation we can see if she can arrange a meet and greet.  I would just love that.

OMG, a chance to meet the one and only Energizer Bunny!  How fun would that be?

Hey we should plan for a dinner or get together in Sacramento when you come in.  That's about an hour or so away for me.  I know Nancy aka Sunray lives in Sacto too.  Let's plan for that if MoMo is ok with it.  Redding is about 3 1/2 hrs from our house but whitewater rafting sounds like a hoot and I'd love to join in that fun too so, let's kick this around a bit!

Oh wow!  I agree with Barb!  We should do the dinner thing before you and Mo head back up the freeway. And just imagine the picture of all of us rolling down the river on inner-tubes (actually would prefer a RAFT!)...that would be fun!  I agree...lets kick this around a bit! LOL

Thank you very much for the prayers and good thoughts. Ron's Dad is just tired of being sick and tired and his Mom is worried that she can no longer care for him.  We're trying to take things a day at a time and I have taken on all of the insurance worries to help her.  She only needs to take care of herself and Bert, I'll deal with the paperwork!

I am feeling good about the interview and know that if it is meant to be it will be.
