I'm heading to the high dessert for dinner with the gang . . . should be fun . . . leaving work early so I can get some stuff done and then get outta Dodge before all the traffic starts moving . . .

For some reason I have had insomnia for the past few nights.....YUCK!  happens every couple of months. 

Not sure what the weekend holds yet.  I may meet a "new" friend up at local club to go dancing.  Or I may just be lazy and try to catch up on much needed sleep.

Happy Friday Chris and the Cali Crew!!

I am so glad it is Friday!!  I am so tired of this job that I look forward to the weekends to try and forget about it at least for a couple of days.  I am going to try and make it to karaoke tonight Chris.  I live close enough to Richies to walk and meet you guys (I don't have my car yet).  I am hoping I can hitch a ride with someone to karaoke and home.  I haven't been in a long time and I feel the need to get out and sing.

I was sad to hear about the passing of Farrah Facett and Michael Jackson yesterday.  You kind of knew that Farrah was going to go soon but Michael....wow!!  So sudden.  I pray for his family and especially his children.  What a hard thing to lose someone so young. 

Well...everyone have a wonderful day and do something fun this weekend.

I'm SO glad it's finally friday. What a cruddy week. Feeling better means now I'm thinking about all the cool stuff I can do this weekend. Looks like my cousin, the rodeo announcer, is here in California somewhere. When I find out where, I'll post it so you all can go and bug him. My son is sort of named after him. He's named after my grandfather and my son is named after him too...so watch for Will at the rodeo...Someplace up north of the desert. LOL.

I am super glad it is Friday.  I got a great call yesterday.  I was offered a job as a foster parent trainer.  I used to do that and out of the blue they call me and they say they need me.  It was awesome.  So I guess my little crafting job is not going to be?  I don't know about that one as we have been playing phone tag.  Yesterday was just boring no adventures for me.  we did do some planting in the yard and that is a good thing and then we celebrated it being the last day of summer school.  Well I have a busy day today lots to prepare for my other new job.   So I rbetter go.  Have a wonderful day and a super weekend if I don't get back.

thanks so much!!!!!!  I was driving on the freeway to my friends house when I got the call.  It was so out of the blue, that I could not believe it!  I wil know more next week when I have my meeting.  I am starting in August and it will be on  Saturdays.  So I am pretty exited.  Thanks for all the love and support ladies.  You gals are the best.

Good morning Chris and everyone,

I think I over did it yesterday.  A bunch of people stopped by and then I am doing some spring cleaning...my youngest daughter got an apartment so I am going through all my kitchen cabinets and getting ready of a lot of things I don't use and reorganizing things...of course my other daughter is helping me...and what a great help she has been.  I also went to the grocery store with my husband and boy did I pay for that last night, but once the vicodin kicked in...whoohoo, I felt so much better.  The only problem I have when I take the vicodin is that I don't feel any pain and then I can't sit still...I want to get things done.  I don't know how many times my daughter yesterday told me "mom you need to sit down." 

Today I plan to take it a little easier...I do have some people stopping by and I need to finish my spring cleaning....but no going anywhere...I need to get better for tomorrow.  My husband and I are going on a dinner cruise with my work and I really want to go....Sunday is just relaxing.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day and don't forget to tell people in your life how wonderful they are and you love them.  Mentioning people in my life...you guys mean the world to me....
