Hot Damn! It's FRIDAY!!!!!

Good Morning Chris and Cali Friends,

My father-in-law is doing about the same, but he knows the hospital is the best place for him right now.  Thank you all for the prayers and good thoughts, they are so very much appreciated.

Today at work, our department is taking myself and another person who is being laid off in our department to farewell lunch, so that will be quite nice and appreciated too.

Tomorrow is our Northern Cali lunch & clothing exchange at Chevy's in Pleasant Hill, hope everyone will come on out and have a GREAT time.  Chevy's loves our group and loves having us and are so nice to give us extra tables for our exchange. Can't wait to see everyone!  Pics will be posted too.

Other than the luncheon, I think it will be a quiet one, with some visits to my father-in-law and some gardening.  It's supposed to be in the 100's, so gardening will have to wait until the early evening or early mornings.

Okay I did not leave on a jet plane yesterday only on my harley up and down the block early in the morning yesterday. Ha Ha had you all psyched!!!! LOL It is so friggin hot here in the desert and humid I HATE it!!! I do not have anything planned for the weekend except to stay cool, cool, cool and then cool some more! Good Morning Cali Crew!

Its a beautiful day yet again in the desert. I hung out with an old friend yesterday and really came to the realization that this "friendship" is coming to an end. Its a 17 year "friendship", and its very hard on me to let go. If I hold on to it, it will turn into a negative impact on my life. Yesterday, was not a great day. Any words of wisdom would be much appreciated.

But I woke this morning and its a good thing. I am going out with a wonderful woman that I went to high school with, we are having lunch today. We met up once before, and we had a nice time. The funny thing is she lives here in Hesperia. Who would have thought?!

Chris S., please be careful coming over to the high desert. I would love to see you as well, but I am unable to attend the dinner. I hope you have a nice time.

Linda- I hope your insomnia goes away. It can be frustrating.

Stacie Z.- I am sure you will be able to find a ride. I think its great you are getting out. Have fun!!

Dawn- I hope you have a better weekend and that you find your cousin.

Rhonda- I think it is so awsome that they offered you that position, again. I am sure you ate a fantastic foster parent trainer! Congratulations, my friend. You deserve it. I am so happy for you!

Michele- Uh, can you say yeah, you overdid it just a little, lol! Gf, you need to not bend so much, and watch your incision. Geez, you just had surgery!

Barb- I hope you enjoy your lunch today. I know it is well deserved. Its sad to close a segment of our lives, but in order to move on, we need change. Good luck again on Tuesday!! Glad to hear that your FIL isn't any worse. Have fun at the Nor Cal lunch tomorrow.

Janine- I am so jealous. When I lose this weight, I will ride on a harley! My BIL has one, and has given everybody rides, except me the chicken. Lol!

Chris and Cali Friends, you got that right!  Hot Damn it is Friday and none to soon!!!  I am headed out early afternoon for Laughlin by way of Victorville to see my son, Chris and his wife Cheri and the two grandgirls Caylin and Caysie. We will be staying in Laughlin for 3 nights and during the day we are adventuring out to the Grand Canyon Caverns, Keepers of the animals, Oatman and also some 4-wheeling.  Just need to get away for a few days.

Good Morning Cali Crew,

     I am very happy it is Friday, and I am not working. Although the hospital did call at 5:19 this morning to see if I wanted to work. We were short. I just let the phone ring and go to voice mail. Yesterday wasn't a good day, so I wasn't interested in repeating it, even thought the extra money would be nice. 
    I have an appointment with my trainer this morning. I did go and buy some more sessions at the gym the other day. Thank goodness it was a sale, because it was very expensive, but I think totally worth it. I will just have to suck it up and pick up an extra shift or 2.
    I have lots to do the next 2 days. I need to start packing and get the house cleaned up before I leave for Canada. I go back to work on Sunday, so I would like to have everything done before that, but I am the best procrastinator, so I am sure I will be running around like a crazy woman on Monday after work trying to get it all done.
    I hope everyone has a fantastic day!!!!!

Not too much planned this weekend. I really want to make it to Long Beach Coffee to meet some of the gang there. Funny how you feel like you know people just from these boards..  There are many people there who have been so inspiring to me and many of us I am sure.

I too want to ride on a Harley. Our old neighbor came to my son's graduation with his Harley and I said hey can you give me a ride sometime? He of course said "Sure". I also mentioned to him that me asking him was a big compliment as there are not too many people I would ride on a motorcycle with.. You really have to trust the person.

Lori I have been riding for a long time. Your little story reminded me that when I graduated from college, I rode up to the big beautiful theater in Oakland for graduation, parked my Harley right in front, and walked the stage to accept my degree with my cap and gown with full leathers underneath!!! LOL Oh the memories!!!

Hot damn it's Friday is right, and for once it really is my Friday with you all!!!! Last night was my last night of work for a month, woo hoo, but kind of sad too, I will miss everyone alot!

Tonight a bunch of us from work, and my hubby, are going to Pechanga Casino to hang out and see the comedy show. I can't wait, it should be fun. It is kind of my surgery send off party and I love hanging with my coworkers.  It is super cool that my hubby joins in (he never really did those kinds of things before).  If it weren't for that, I would join you guys in Victorville tonight, sing a song for me, k!!!! Huggs to all of you up there that I haven't seen in awhile!!!
So, in 5 more days I will be becoming a new girl!!! Can't wait to be rid of the alien biotches, but apprehensive somewhat too.

Everyone have a wonderful weekend!! I will see those going to the LB coffee and then Sunday is just for hubby and I since he won't see alot of me after surgery because I'm heading to my mom's to recover. Everyone having get togethers this weekend have a blast and let's be extra thankful for each other, because yesterday proved life is too short!!

Today seems like a Monday for me since I took yesterday off. Thought about staying home again today but needed to come in and get payroll completed so we can all get paid on Tuesday.  I will probably leave early if I can sneak away before the Boss can think of something else for me to do LOL

Looks like summer has finally arrived here in the Sac Valley..temps suppose to hit 105 Saturday and Sunday.  That takes care of any scooter ridin' this weekend. But it won't stop Lon and I from getting over to the East Bay meet up at Chili's! The cold thing is hanging on, can't sleep laying down but it could be alot worse...my head could be totally stuffed up, I could be all achy and totally tired...I will take this little 'bump in the road' and be grateful.

Time to get back to doing what I'm suppose to be doing...so I can go home and start doing what I WANT to be doing ^_^   Hope everyone has a great weekend, enjoy yourselves at the LB lunch, the High Desert dinner have a blast, and the rest of you, be good to yourselves also!
