SURGERY DATE JULY 10TH!! (Dr. Suh)

I received my surgery date. July 10th at 11:30am (Dr. Suh)
I am excited and looking forward to see the new me eventually transpire and the journey that's ahead. I can't believe this day is just around the corner.
I am so thankful to this website for providing so much info on what I am going to expect and so grateful for all those who share their journey positive or negative. I look forward on meeting new friends here and welcome all advice. I also live in Riverside so it will be great to hear from those in my community as well.

I am so excited for you....you are right July 10th is just around the corner and will be here before you know it...Just think you will be a looser like us...I had my surgery almost 15 months ago and I have lost 131 pounds...I am a couple pounds under my doctor's goal...

I don't live in Riverside, I am in San Dimas, which is not to far from you.  If you need anything don't hesitate to ask. ..

Congrats on your surgery date and we're all going to be saving you a spot on the losers bench.  We're so glad we can share your journey with you and we're here for you every step of the way.  I totally remember the nervously excited feeling, perfectly normal!  Read blogs by folks who have gone before you, it will help so much.  Here for you anytime.

Congratulations Kelly on your approaching surgery date!  Oh, how I remember the excitement waiting for surgery...it seems all I could think about was the surgery.  The 2 most helpful reminders I received from the wonderful people here: 1) Don't weigh yourself when you get home from surgery...you will have gained...with all the fluids they pour into you, you can't escape it LOL  2) start walking as soon as you can....it will so help with recovery and your overall feeling of wellness.  I look forward to moving on down to make room for you on the Loser's Bench ^_^

Congratulations Kelly....how awesome is that? I am telling you life will never be the same as you know it now! I mean that in a good way!

I am a Dr. Suh alumni and in fact it will be exactly my 7 year anniversary the day of your surgery. You are in good hands and I wish you nothing but success in your journey to health and happiness!

I'm one of Dr. Suh's patients as well. He has 4 support groups in southern CA. One in Murietta, one in Redlands, one in Corona and one in Hesperia.  I'd recommend attending them before and after your surgery. Murietta meeting is on July 6, Redlands in on July 7 before your surgery. Wish you well on your new journey. Good luck. DAVE
