Good Monday Morning Cali!

Morning Cali . . . since Ms Janine is out galavanting around the state, I guess I better get this ball rolling.  Hope everyone is going to have a great week . . .

I work today and tomorrow . . . and then I'm off until next Monday . . . going to get my eyes checked on Wednesday . . . getting hard to see the computer . . . and our new physical year starts that day . . . so new glasses (well lenses this year) are so in order.  Then I go to LAX to pick up my daughter Wednesday afternoon . .. have no plans for the rest of the week . . .just "off".  Had the day off yesterday and did nothing other than sleep all afternoon . . . even with the grandkids climbing all over me in my recliner in the living room . . . I was out of it . . . don't even remember them eating dinner.

Good Morning Chris and Cali Friends,

Sure hope you enjoy your time off, you sure deserve it.  Well, Ms. Janine and Ms. Rhonda will be back on their way home, please travel safe my friends.

Well this is the last Monday I will work for the school district, as tomorrow is my last day there.  I also have my job interview with the "other" school district at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow, so please think good thoughts.  My other lay-off mate and I are bringing in bagels and fruit for the office as a thank you for our lunch on Friday, so that ought to be fun.

It was a hot, hot. hot weekend, so I sure do hope things will cool down a little.

Good morning Chris and Cali,

Well today I am back at work full time.  It is a short week because of the Holiday.  I am glad, I get tired easily it seems.  Next week I am back on the road (say a prayer I can last all week). 

We ran off to Monterey yesterday.  It was very nice until Vanessa threw  up!  We cleaned her off and got her something for her tummy.  I think she was just exhausted from playing all day at the beach.  

It was still 95 when we got home, we are not used to this heat up north.  Hope it cools off soon.  Everyone stay cool today!

Heading out to Havasu for 9 days with my Honey. Get there before the crazy's and after the crazys. Going to see one of my co-workers from almost 30 years ago. Can't wait.

Good Morning, and I know it's morning because it is light outside.  Sleep evaded me last night as my back decided to kick it up a notch.  No matter what I took, nothing worked, no matter what I did, nothing worked, I will probably take a nap some time today.  I just feel sorry for the hubby, poor guy needs sleep.  What I am grateful for is I am managing my weight really well while down on my ass all day.  I tend not to eat, only some sunflower seeds, one because sitting around I tend to drink more water, and there is no kitchen up here.  So if no one is here to feed me food, I stick with the string cheese I have stocked up here in the fridge along with cases of water. 

Thank you all for your kind words. As Becky is having her surgery tomorrow, I will be finding out the fate of surgery day.  I will let you all know what happens.  In the meantime, I will remind myself, out there in this world there is someone worse off than me and be happy.

Good Morning Chris and the Cali Crew!!

It sure was great meeting you on Friday Chris.  I had such a blast.  It was good to get out and have some fun. 

Saturday, I had Angel Food distribution for my church and boy was it hot.  We had tons of extra help this time because the Extreme tour is in town and all the bands came out to help.  The Extreme tour is a bunch of young christian bands that get together with skateboarders and BMXers and put on exhibitions and concerts in different cities for free.  This thursday, they are going to be at John's Incredibal Pizza in Victorville.  It is free if anyone wants to bring there teens out. 

Hopefully, this will be a short work week.  It is my birthday weekend and I would love to have an extra day off.

I'm BaaaaaaaCK!  From vacation.  We got back last night around 9:30.  It's hotter'n hell here.  108 yesterday, 109 today.  We were on the coast and the hottest it got was 74.  This sucks!

The port-a-house is all unpacked and stuff put away.  I need to clean it, wash sheets and re-make beds and get it all ready to hit the road again.  August 1st is our next trip.

The old man and I pretty much decided to upgrade our trailer to a 25+ foot with a pop-out.  Need a bit more room.  Plus, some of the trailers we toured were so nice.

I managed to lose 2 pounds while I was gone.  Must be all the activity we were doing.  I went diving for abalone 4 times and it was AWSOME!!!!!!  Just wait till I get the pictures up and posted.  We had an underwater camera.  One of the pictures was of me and Joe standing on a rock -- I have Girl Shape!  There's a waist there, hips, the whole 9 yards!  Been a while since I've seen there. 

Off to work.  They totally effed up everything here.  Ugh.  Only 3 days this week then I'm off to my class reunion!
