Good Tuesday Morning Cali
Good Morning Cali and a happy Tuesday to all of you!
It really feels good to be home and back in my safe zone for sure. As good as it feels to get out of the desert sometimes, I am always happy to return to my home, Jeff and my doggies. I also really missed the comfort of my own bed as a sofa is not the most comfortable to sleep on, but I was being nice and gave the bed up to Rhonda! She loved the pillow top whatever thing it was on her bed!
I have uploaded a few pics on my profile of the bridge and Rhonda and me. A few of things around while were on the bridge too.
I know lots happened while I was gone although I was not on the boards a whole lot.
Today Becky is having her surgery as her angel Miss Diane has been posting and make sure that you go and sign her support page as she is undergoing the alien removal today.
Monica W is also having surgery....she is having her gallbladder removed....I am telling you that girl cannot get a break can she? Keep her in your thoughts also.
What about those 5dpt'ers? They need our support too! It is hard to go back to basics!
Mo I think it is awesome that you got to scratch something off your list....Rhonda had an almost with walking on the bridge which I thought was on her bucket list, but she claims running now...I know she will someday!
Michele T....hoping that all your consult stuff went well yesterday....I know you and Rhonda were texting back and forth...so I hope that good news is pending!
Little Michele...how are you feeling? I kind of looked around the boards to see if you posted about your recovery...I sure hope that you are feeling better!

Diane glad to read that Dougie bought you a laptop so you are not so isolated up there in the big room of yours. Hope that you get a date soon and get on the road to recovery. You, like Monica cannot get a break!
Sue how did the counter offer go with the house? I did not see any follow up on that...you surely have a good attitude about it!
Karen I think it is awesome about the great news with the biopsy....scary wait...but you had a good positive attitude about it and knew you were going to be okay....and the clothes size...yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ha!!!
Rhonda...I hope you had a good time....and you got settled in back home with your family. You MUST post about all your little gifts that were made for you! You must have some sore thumbs with all the texting you did on the trip...don't know how you kept up with it all! LOL Thanks for the laughs and conversation these few days.
Eileen it was good to meet you...I just keep trying to remember all of you up there....you looked great btw and you working that tool is really paying off!

Well I guess I am going to go for now and try and get some more sleep. I got woken from my poor sick husband....that is okay...I will forgive him. Also know that just because I do not shout you out does not mean I do not care!

Thanks for the shout out Janine - as usual it was great...and so glad you had a good time but I know how you feel about your own bed...always good to be home.
I don't have much on my agenda today as the past 4 days have been busy busy busy....so today is just catching up on some rest and chores around here.
I haven't been keeping up with what everyone is doing but I know that I will be praying for Becky today as the aliens are removed and I am so happy that Karen got good news about her biopsy.,
Janine - I want to make it out to the desert this summer for sure...can I bring my guy? WE could drive out there and meet up for lunch or something....we will work out the logistics. Dave is teaching summer school so when that is over I will get with you to set up a date...

This was the frist weekend I had off in a long time. I worked 8 hours on Saturday, but that was not like 12 hours. The rest of the day I relaxed and enjoyed myself.
Sunday, I went out motorcycle riding with some friends. Had a great time, the day was a bit warm, but no biggy really, and I can not wait to get out and go again. If asked....
Yesterday DD and I went to the movies and seen "My sisters Keeper" OMG!!!!! What a great movie. If you get the chance go and see it. After that DD went to dinner with my other sister and I took the "kids" to the dog park to play and meet new friends. Also my friends meet us there and we hung out and talked and laughed. Its so much fun watching all the dogs running around and having a good time. On the way home, Liz and I talked about the movie and the book. Both good, but the book was better. Also yesterday was day one of the pouch test, I thought I would have a hard time at the movies and not have popcorn, but really it was not that big of deal. Yea me!! (that was way I didn't go out to dinner with my sister)
OK time for the shower and to start my day. Oh Joy!!!

I got home and could hear my son yelling last night from the street . . . ummmm . . . seems my grandson poured water into his computer . . . FRIED IT . . . so he tried to rape two other old computers here . . . no go . . . plus the battery in my old one died . . . so now I have to SHARE mine . . . because all his paperwork is going back and forth for his job in Monterey . . . .omg I think it's the one thing I have left that was all mine . . . then the question . . . can I order them a new computer and they will make the payments . . . ughhhh . . .
I have to thank everyone for the names for my cape for my 3 Day walk . . . I'm having issues with the fabric paint bleeding . . . might have to switch to puffy paints . . . also, the 3 Day is for breast cancer, so I'm putting those names on the cape. HOWEVER . . .I am doing the Relay for Life on August 15 which is a 24 hour walk for all types of cancers - and I'm making a necklace that I will wear with all the other names and types of cancer people have been sending to me. (no I'm not walking 24 hours - we walk in shifts - but I will be there the entire time).
I'm trying to get as much water in me as possible this morning . . .have to have blood work - last day of the physical year for me - don't want to pay full price if I wait until tomorrow - but my veins collapse and roll . . . so it is always a pain!

Glad you had a good time in No. Cal. Wi**** would have worked out that Sammi and I could go up too but it just wasn't in the cards.
We are STILL waiting to hear on the counter offer on the house. They give us 24 hours to respond then take their sweet time in replying. They were getting counter offers from multiple people so I'm sure that's part of the issue. We really like that house and can totally picture ourselves living there. Keeping our fingers crossed we get it but we keep looking in the meantime. I keep telling myself, if it's meant to be, it'll happen.
Day 1 of the PT went pretty good. Sure do wish I could get rid of this headache tho....

Just a quick type by as I need to get ready to go to SF for my interview today. Please hold good thoughts or send good juju around 10:00 a.m., that's when I go in for my interview! I'm the first one of the bunch so I will do my best to razzle dazzel em and leave them wanting more!

Love the new avatar, the bridge in the background. Everytime people come to visit we take them to the city and walk the bridge. know this weekend it was hot so, it was clear.
Today trying to get ready to go back on the road for work. I have to pack my bag for next week and pack for a long weekend trip to So cal to visit my parents. Vanessa wants to see Grandpa and Boo Boo dog. So here we go burning up I 5 again! Oh well I guess I should not complain she could break Grandpa's heart if she did not want to see him. I have Thursday and Friday off as holidays so not eating into vacation time.
Well better to get to work and make breakfast for the sleepy ones. Everyone stay cool and drink your water.
