Hi fellow Californians,

My name is Chris McD. I am new here.  I live in a little town called Arvin, near Bakersfield, CA.  I'm new to all this chatting stuff, so please be patient with me,  I hope to learn a lot from you all before I make any decisions.  I'm very private about myself, so when I feel comfortable talking more about myself I will, but for now I mostly want to listen to your stories, if that's OK with you all.

Welcome Chris!  You have found the most supportative, encouraging and honest group around.  Ask your questions, post your concerns...we are here to help you make an informed decision..but for me? I would do the surgery again in a heart beat; my surgery was the best decision I ever made for my future. ^_^

Good Morning Janine & Cali Friends,

Thank goodness it's Tuesday!! WOW! What a week! I finally got home from Sacramento on Sunday evening. It was a long, long drive! Yesterday, I had to go back to work and we all know what it's like to get back into the swing of things. It takes FOREVER to get your groove back! I had so much fun spending time with my brother & his two BIG dogs...lol I am sorry I missed the LB Coffee but hopefully I will be able to make it to this months.

I hope everything goes well for Becky & Monica. Hope those girls have a speedy recovery!!

Good Morning Cali Crew!

Its a beautiful day, here in the high desert! I hope it doesn't get too hot. My day has already started great. I have my workout partner back, Miss Rhonda! Glad you got back safe and sound. I sure did miss you and you are going away again in August! But, you go girl, scratch things off your bucket list. I am proud of you!

I will be saying prayers for everybody that needs them today. Becky with her surgery. Barb with her interview. Chris S. with her lab work. Monica with the recovery from her gallbladder surgery yesterday. Little Michele with her recovery from surgery. Diane C. for her back trouble. And anyone else that need them.

Janine, Rhonda, and Momo, Welcome back from vacation ladies! Back to reality. Lol!

Yesterday, I went to San Diego for my consultation with Dr. Zorn. It went really well. I had my psych eval, internal med eval, and surgical eval. All three doctors gave their thumbs up for surgery!! Just waiting on the call with the date now. I am so excited!! It was a long exhausting day though. I left my house at 5:30 am! As hubby had a dr appt at 7:20 in Fontana. My appts didn't start until 2:00 pm. and finished at 5:45 pm. By the time we got home it was nearly 12 midnight. But it was sooo worth it! I also was able to meet up with Becky and give her a big hug before her surgery today.
