Thanks for the awsome shout-out!  My "bucket list" needs revising - there's nothing on it.  Well, not really.  I do want to get tank certified to scuba dive.

Good News!  - there's a ho****er heater in the back of Joe's truck.  Brand Spanking Effing New!  Yahoooo!

Swamped with work.  Need 9 extra hours today.  Work thing then off to get a clip and a dip (hair cut and dye job to cover the gray), Manicure, Pedicure then home to clean my house.  I have camping **** all over the place and company coming tomorrow.  Oh, good thing stress burns more calories!

YeeHaw!  I'm off and running.

Good morning Janine and Cali Friends and thanks for the shout Janine! Well, Jim and I left Friday mid-morning for Grand Canyon by way Victorville to see the grandchildren, and then headed toward Laughlin and Arizona to visit my sister Lee.  We ended up NOT checking in the hotel until 2 am.  During the last 2 hours of the trip, Jim was feeling really bad and it got worse.  At first I thought he was having a heart attack, but then it continued and continued and I knew if it was a heart attack he would be dead by now.  Went to an urgent care and they were closed.  Stopped at the Riverside and asked where the nearest hospital was and they gave me the wrong directions.  In any case, went to the Silvercreek Hospital in Bullhead City and it turns out that Jim has pneumonia.  He had some coughing and wasn't feeling well a couple of weeks ago, but I thought is was over and done with.  Jim didn't say anything about still feeling poorly because he did not want to ruin the 4-day get away.  To make a long story short, Jim stayed in bed the entire weekend and I made sure he got his meds!  He is feeling much better today and has a doctor appointment this afternoon. So, our trip to the Grand Cayon Caverns, Keepers of the Animals, Oatman and all the other stuff will be rescheduled for a later date.
Hope everyone has a great week.

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they

ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

Good Afternoon Cali,

Janine, thank you for the shout out.  As always, you do a great job.
Glad you enjoyed yourself in Northern Cali.  If I had the $$, I would move there in a heartbeat.

Well, I have bad news.  I will not be going on the knitting cruise in September due to financial constraints.  I e-mailed the travel agent yesterday explaining the situation.  The reply I got back from her was less than favorable.  In her email , she claimed that she tried to convince me to cancel 2 weeks ago (not true).  Anyway, now I can focus on the May 2010 cruise with my uncle.

Praying for all of the people on the boards who have had surgery and /or is about to get surgery.  May you all have a safe journey and a speedy recovery.

More Love & Peace,

Kim

Morning Janine and Cali gang
Thank goodness for Janine!!  I needed your great shoutout-catchup posting to find out what I missed yesterday.  Becky is on her way to surgery, Monica has had her gall bladder out (by now), you and Rhonda are home safe, Barb has had her interview, Karen's biopsy came out clean (Yeah!!)..wow, how do you keep it all so organized?!

Hubby woke up yesterday heaving; and I followed suit a couple of hours later. Today is my second day staying home from work. We don't know if it was something we ate or if actually a mild case of the flu...but either way, it was NOT fun!  I found it ironic that I had considered doing the 5DPT; I hadn't planned on not drinking at all :-(  Keeping jus****er down was a chore but kept trying so I didn't get dehydrated.  So today is modified liquids..that sounds good to me; don't think my pouch could take much solid food at this point. soups sound good to me LOL

Tomorrow I'll go back to work and catch up.  I only have to work 2 days,Friday being my holiday for the 4th. We're heading up to our 5th wheel for the 3days...hopefully the weather will drop a good 10degrees or more.  These 100+ degrees are a  killer; but the good news is I'm surviving a whole lot better than this time last year!! Yeaaaah! In fact, I received a gorgeous quilt from my sister (she's 2 1/2 years out Lap Band) because she said I would need it come winter...no more 'insulation' to keep me warm LOLOL

My prayers go out to Monica, Nikki, Barb, Becky and all those having their WLS surgeries this week.  I wish you all great success and speedy outcomes.  And to those just going on with their every day schedule..you all are the best!!
Hugs

Good Afternoon Janine and Cali guys and Gals,

I know it is late for me but my computer is down and I have to borrow my son's.  I am going to have to dump everything and start completly over.  I spent the morning going in and changing all my passwords on the computer as I think I have a hacker or something.  I know I got a virus though for sure, maybe they go in the computer and do weird things?  Who knows!  lol.  Well you may or may not see me on line much as my son does not like to share his computer and I gotta take mine down the repair shop.  So if any of you get something weird from me please call me or pm me as I probably did not send it but you never know with me!  I do like to tease!  It is great to be home and Janine is right I loved the pillow top thingy that our host put on the bed for me.  Janine was super gracious and let me have the bed,  I think she figured out I snored and wanted to at least get some sleep.  It is good to be home and in the loving arms of my family and friends, even though those northern girls are some of the best hugers around.  Never felt so welcomed in my life ladies.  Well I gotta take one of the kiddos for a check up and then dinner with friends all the while praying for our own Becky!  Oh and guess what I am going to be an Angel for the first time!  lol Michelle as asked me to be hers and I have accepted.  (I did have to nudge her to pick me, but the expert Angel is going to be recovering from her surgery! )  So ladies and gents, have a super rest of the day and do something nice for yourself.

Rhonda,

You didn't have to nudge me. I am happy that you are My Angel. You are a wonderful person. You care alot about people. I like those qualities in a person. As far as your computer goes, I really dislike when that happens. All the grip that technology has on us, Lol!

Hugs & Friendship,

Michelle T.
