Five hours later, but doing great!!!

Hey all!

Becky came through the surgery with flying colors. Not sure how much they were able to do (doc's talked to the family, so I gave them some privacy.. I'll find out more when I see her). She was in surgery for five hours, but handled it like a trooper. The surgeons came out around 4pm and the rest of the surgical team was cleaning her up. I did overhear that there were pictures taken. We should be able to see her in the next hour or so; and I'll update after then.

I know that Becky would want to (and will soon!) thank you for all of your prayers and thoughts. You can bet that she'll be posting just as soon as possible!

Thank you so much for posting....wow 5 hours!!!  I am so glad hear that she was a trooper, not that i would she would be anything else...lol

When you see her please let her know I have been thinking of her and sending her good vibes and a lot of LOVE!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the compliment I feel good. Doing things I haven't done before - the other day, the hubster and I took a while on the trails behind our complex and it ended up being 2.5 miles! I haven't done that in YEARS.

Thanks for posting.  I got my text mail while I was waiting for my doctor...someone please tell me why you have to wait almost 3 hours to see a back surgeon when you have back pain and sitting hurts.  Will write more later.  Glad Becky is doing good

I am so glad that Becky came out of the surgery ok. I will continue to keep her in my prayers as she begins the road to recovery. Thank you Paula for keeping us updated. I know it was a long day. You are quite a friend. I am sure a lot more people would have liked to been at the hospital, but you did a great job.
